PES 6 terrible stuttering problems,unplayable

Well I finally solved the problem with the game only stuttering in full screen mode by locking the in game refresh rate to 60Hz in catalyst control centre. It seems that although my desktop refresh rate was set to 60, the game was switching to a different frequency when launched, hence why it was fine in windowed mode.

The only problem I have now are these horizontal tearing lines which are pretty shocking in all honesty. I've tried playing about with the vertical synch settings etc but nothing seems to improve it.

My stuttering problems

when i got my copy of pes six and it started stuttering with my x1900 xtx i was thinking oh no the game that i love doesnt work i went through all sotrs of reasons why faulty game hardware until i decided to look on the forums and thanks to all you guys one no cd crack later and it is back to the beautiful game so thank you all

I have a bit of stuttering, 6800GS - Not terrible but annoying when you're lining up a bullet header, and bad enough to affect your game.
Might try that noDVD crack, was gonna wait for a konami patch (any news??)
Anyway, point of post was, anyone know WHY the noDVD patch works???

It works because the game does not try to read off the DVD

No mate it doesnt. You can open the tray and buzz your DVD across the room if you so wish, and play the game to your hearts content until the next time you exit.

Relica, It is a crack, usually used for an illegal copy of the game, to stop the game from checking for an official CD upon startup. It is not illegal to use the crack in this circumstance because we've paid for the game. Simply download the pes6.exe file posted above, and copy it into your game directory: C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 6 It will ask if you want to replace the existing file. Say yes. And play the game.

tried this did not work for me and my game is still stuttering so if you can help me resolve i would be gratefeul as this is in my opinion the best pro evo yet

try install the new kitserver v6.3.6 it got lodcfg.exe which improve graphic detail greatly.not only that, it got all the updated kits.wonderful.... i got it from [PC]MyMy Adapted PesRevolution OF 1.3
it works great for me and i'm using ATI 9600XT. Try it.....

PS goto HOME select under Site Navigation - PES6 OPTION FILES,
then select [PC]MyMy Adapted PesRevolution OF 1.3

ATI Radeon 9550 I've got.

Hopefully the exe that's been posted a few times will work.. it won't affect online gaming though will it?

Hello stewmang can u tell me what this catalyst control centre thingy is please and how it works coz this game is driving me nuts.im having the exact same crap as everyone else.game stutters really bad its unplayable,i done the no cd crack and like u it only sorted the problem a touch but its still no where near sorted it out properly and im getting the tearing lines like u too.im desperate,why do they relese games in this state ?

Tried no dvd crack, Anti virus etc. Still no good. On P4 3.0 1g ram just bought a new card Ati 1600pro 512 still got lag and stutter. Any ideas please.

Ive tried absolutely everything people and finally fixed it thanks to LastSeeker on page 3. Ive got dual core so i gave his link a bash and installed the program from amd and its working spot on now. well played that man. only thing is Im still getting the lines down the screen now and then, which is quite annoying but its still 100 times better than what it was. Cheers again LastSeeker and F**K YOU Konami for bringing a sabotaged game out and conning the shat out of everyone.last game im buying off you lot of cowboys.

I am having the stuttering/lag problem also

i tried the no dvd crack from rapidshare but when i try to paste it over the pes6.exe file it says no af file found? Any ideas

I am running Vista with core duo, 1gb ram, Intel 945GM chipset

I also tried the 3d analyze software and this made only a tiny difference.

My main menu screen is blank also, just description at bottom

Please help

Fixed Problem with slow game play.

At last I have fixed problem with slow play and stuttering. Took ATi card back and bought a Geforce Nvidia 7800GT. Game works perfect now.
