The editor works perfectly but when I start the game and I load my BAL file my player had no position. Before I was a CF but now I'm nothing.

I have experienced the same problem ass lollol1984.
The editor works perfectly but when I start the game and I load my BAL file my player had no position. Before I was a CF but now I'm nothing.

I hope that anyone knows a solution to solve this problem

I've check the "tweak", nothing that... wird happent to me.
But, like I said elsewhere, this "tweak" is totaly destroying the meaning of "BAL" mode. You, m8s, must "BLEED" like a REAL player, starting from scrach as young teen (like in real life), to become a GREAT player.
I know, you're impatient to play... play... and play, but THIS IS the "point" of "BAL"! You're "playing" as in real life; when you SHOULD!
Anyway...
A TIP for you, about "BAL" (because, since there isn't any decent EPL patch yet, I'm ONLY PLAYING this mode, since I bought the game).

DO NOT CHOOSE A GOOD OR MEDIUM TEAM... as your first team and...
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR FIRST TEAM FOR AT LEAST 2-3 SEASONS!!!

No matter what "enticement/siren" appeared, you must stay FOCUS to your team and INCREASE YOUR ATTRIBUTES, day by day, match by match!!! And, stay focus to your POSISION's facts. If you're CM (like me) you just CAN'T be... infrond of the opponent nets! That's NOT your posision (it's CF, not even SS, place...). Your "job" as CM, is to CREATING goals, not making them! That doesn't means, you can't try to make goals, but NOT ALWAYS!

Maybe you have a point but when I play a game I just want to have fun. Maybe It's my fould because I am to impatient but what does it matter because I don't play online.
I just make my player a little better to have a lot more fun.
You also said that using this patch take the reality away, well, I'm not shore about that. Just look to Krkic, maybe he is an extremely big talent and a huge exception, why couldn't I be that in my own dreams?

I fully respect that u use BAL mode in the way you like it but I just do it the way I like it.

You play it your way, I'd like to play it mine. I'm not able to play too often, and to play as a crap player 6 times a month makes for a bloody dull experience. If I wanted to work this hard I'd have tried to become a professional footballer when I was 17.

I didn't, which is why I'd like my game to be a game that I'm in control of instead of playing with the quadraplegic I've got now.

This editor is very useful if you want to get a good agility for your player. But it can't change any weak foot stats. I've looked at and compared two BAL save files in hex to see where the stat is stored but I have no idea about the file structure.

Anybody knows the email address of the maker of this legend editor? I want to tweak my own.

i think it does spoil the game a little, but for me i just want to tweak a couple of stats as i am being played constantly as CM but have stats for right wing.

i have the same problem as well. but when i skip a match when i am in the starting line up (was slotted in the CMF position) i got my position back (im a FW).

but when i edited another new created legend, even though i used the same method i couldn't get my position back

Hi guys, i have a question i'm sure has never been asked.

In my BAL mode, i set "injury tolerance" to C, misunderstanding its meaning (i wanted less injuries).

Now (2011/2012) i can't find a way to edit this.
I tried even opening save file with an HEX editor but i can't find a way to track this parameter.

Can anyone help me? I'm tired to be out for injury..

This is just A BAL editor mate, as the files are separate for BAL, OFs and everything else. I've downloaded it, but can't use it myself yet as I'm waiting for the .NET 3.5 to download before the year's over... (0kb/s ??) I've seen that screenshot from a few posts ago, and it does show the same layout as I can see, just without the BAL file loaded.

Here's a question that hasn't been answered yet. Is this editor for all versions of the game? I have the PS3 version, so would like to know if it'll be compatible with my saves after finally downloading .NET 3.5... Thanks in advance.

Is there any type of editor for Option files? The thread that gave me the link to this seemed to describe an OF editor, and when someone asked for the PC version they put the link here.
