I have got round all the dumb issues you guys describe. Yeah it was fustrating at first, but now I have a great formation setup, practice the moves until I know them without thinking about them and voila you start to play great. Only concede fouls on a tactical basis score great individual and team goals and have a ball playing against my mates. I know now that if something isn't working then its down to me, not the game.

The game is different - everyone can see that its different, yes the ref does blow up a lot for fouls.. so stop hounding the ball with X?? just run your player into the direction path of the actual ball.... works so much better, there is now a right time to apply pressure with x, you actually have to use your brain a bit, and I think its a welcome addition that you actually have to chase the ball and harass the computer - winning on PES4 was too easy in the end.. Im having no troubles playing on 4*, I always start on 4 as then to progress not ruining the whole thing for the rest of the year... all these people that are saying "It seriously sucks" ect are ok in saying that, its fine, but lads - does it really suck or is it your skills that now suck?
I was bored of lobs that you could hit from 25yards and shots that boom over the goalie from 40 yards on PES4, me and my friends play quite hardcore and we all love it, feels quite rewarding when you actually score a goal nowadays and a 1-0 is a grinded out performance.. smashing the ball near post is quite fun too. PES5 = Quality game, yeah its changed, therefore so do you have to, you canny play it like PES4 - thats where you're going wrong, explore new things..

I mean, wot the hell do you expect to achieve with slating the game. if YOU are not happy with it, then I think its YOU that has to deal with it. otherwise you have 2 options:

1. Play a different game which you find gratifying or;

2. Get a Masters in programming, start a games company and make your own little perfect football game.

pes5 is piss easy, you dont need to sort out formation or training, or even buy new players. I'm top of league with Blackburn on 6 stars, haven't lost a game and only drawn 3. And I'm about 8 games off end of season. So frigg off and get a life yaohan!

I had ISS 3 on playstation. I loved it and played it for over a year. Now I've got PS5 on computer but I suck at it. I can't make any goals in the Master League. I'm not saying the game sucks, but it feels hard as hell.

PES5 is great all you losers. You just have to get used to it, like I did from the transition from PES1 to PES3 (i never had PES2). I had to adjust the way I played for PES5. In PES4 I found it easier to run and pass through my oppisition. Now I have to be more creative when creating chances (even though there are loads of bugs that make it easy to score).
