B. The conversion from Past Gen to Next Gen is a long and tedious one, and to even get this shadow of the former game out on time and not at a rediculous point next year they had to cut some of the "less important" aspects, and yes they are less important I mean they can't cut the teams, or the players can they?

Spot on.

Those who think Konami would intentionally create a half-arsed game to 'spite' the 360 need their head checked. They would be threatening their own reputation and it would cost them, not Sony. They are after all, a business, not Sony's bitches.
Even if Seabass did prefer Sony over Microsoft, he'd simply not release the game on the 360. Why go to the cost and effort of making a game just to make your company look bad?

I can gaurantee that PES7 on both next-gen consoles will be the full article.

mental.....i cannot believe you lot are crying your eyes out about an editing mode!!!!
If you are that interested in player names / clubs / strips etc you should just but FIFA (or make up a spreadsheet with all the names and colours in the right places ) ...... Its all a bit OCD to me!
I've played the demo of FIFA and it is rotten. I was bored after maybe 5 games, lets face it, Pro Evo kicks the ass off fifa but if the lack on an editing feature makes you all cry so much......you deserve FIFA.

You are a little bit harsh mate, take it easy...we all need PES to be just in a better shape and thus we are discussing the lack af licenses which has taken us to speak about the edit mode which is conidered our only solution to the lack of licenses. It is just a closing circle...got it?

oh well, i'll probably just wait until january. on the plus side by then i should know enough to see if it's worth picking up a 360 for or maybe just hold out for a region free ps3 release in april. either way whoever gets a decent pes out will get my purchase for next gen first.

it is funny reading everyone complaining about the 360 version.. some saying they bought one just for pes and others saying it was a waste. i say if you bought a £300 console for just one game you have something wrong with you. i'm getting a 360 but i still plan to get pes6 on my ps2 and hopefully psp. everyone keeps saying they are going to wait for the ps3 version. my advice START SAVING! with ps3 being over £400 (i think) and the games priced at £50 konami and sony are just taking all of your money and laughing. as far as the graphics on ps3 go i seriously doubt that they will be twice as good as the 360.
konami just want more competition to sell games and waiting for ps3 to give the full next gen eperience is just oanother ploy to make more money!

people that say they'll ait for the ps3 version are starting to shit on me, so your talking about pro evo 7 then which will have the same features for both 360 and ps3 (i assume anyway), the reason the 360 version isn't the same as ps2 has nothing to do with microsoft and sony its to do with the programing of the next gen game.

I'll be getting a 360 regardless. Not sure if i'll buy PES6 for the 360 or PS2 yet, though.

Anyway my point is i'm buying a 360 not just for PES but for all the good games that are starting to come out like Forza 2, Saints Row, Gears of War etc. I'm not going to be bullied into waiting for a PS3 by Konami (who are pretty much under the control of Sony) and their tactics.

If PES7 is good on the PS3 it will be as good on the 360. If its shite on the PS3 it will be as bad on the 360. Waiting for a PS3 makes little sense.

Actually the PS3 Launch price has been slashed to £250, in order to compete with the 360 ;) Thats official from Sony people :) Doesn't stop the games being as pricey as they want tho, worried they'll be about 60 quid a piece. Considering the sheer amount of data that can be squeezed onto a blue ray disc, i'm surprised they wont be 80 quid or 100 each... Ahhh I still remember wen NES games were 40 quid.. those were the days ;)

i dont think it will be 250 on realsese it will be at least 300 or more for the premium pack with bigger hdd and stuff

its 550 pre order on play.com at the minute thats wioth 3 games so it would be at leaset 300 onits own
