PES6 for the 360

Right, it's decision time. D-Day is some 18 days away and the final decision for many of us who need to buy it immediately is about to hit.

I myself have had it ordered since as early as I can remember and, in light of Blue Scouse's thread regarding the interview with Seabass, I have cancelled it for 360 and changed to a PS2 order, just to be safe.

Here's the question, the big one:

Is it worth it for the 360?

No German league, limited editing capabilities, and an overall half-assed attempt at more-or-less porting to next-gen (the plague of the 360 so far), are the £40.00 (or £50.00, if you're buying it in shop) worth parting with for what seems like a disappointment?

In my view, they aren't, and I'll be spending the £29.99 necessary on Play to get this piece of gaming gold for PS2, as I have for the past 5 (and on the Gameboy Colour for ISS '99).

Is anyone sticking by their guns and getting the 360 version? Has anyone got any knowledge of what the actual proper game will be like, as in played a retail version, never mind a demo or beta version?

I'll probably get PES6 for the PS2 now. However, i like the 360 so i might give FIFA 07 a go on that.

Well i'll be getting it on the 360 seeing as though i've just bought one.

Why mention the Bundesliga in this thread aswell? It won't be in the PS2 version either mate.

Based on what i've heard i'll probably be getting it on the ps2, if the edit mode is better on the ps2 then thats what really matters and i should be able to copy over previous logo/badges and player names + i'm so used to playing pro evo on the playstation anyway, so its not that much of a problem for me.

My lack of wide knowledge is made prevelant once again.

I didn't realise it was missing for the PS2 version as well. Bummer.

I'll stick to my PS2 for the fact that the thing that you know is better than the thing that you don't. I am sure that PES6 will be better than PES5 and this enough to me. Moreover I know the advantages and the disadvantages of PES on PS2. I am not going to be adventurous this time.

ill probably get it for ps2 cos of the edit features and i read somewhere that other leagues c is on ps2 and not 360.
not sure if this is true.

but saying that, the 360 version is still mighty tempting, considering i'm soon to get xbox live!

360 all the way, as a former ps2 user who's recently switched to 360 i've been very impressed with xbox live as i'm yet to experience any lag and since konami have said they purposely worked even harder on the online experience for the 360 so it was like playin someone in the same room when online i'm sure this will be a major plus over the ps2. So what if theres no german league on either, i personally never even played as bayern never mind any others and after bein amazin with patches and option files in the past i'm sure i'll be amazed again when someone does one for the 360.
Bottom line i'm gettin it for 360 purely for online play, if the strips can't be edited as well as ps2 so what, i'll be able to play people all over the world lag free with smooth stunning graphics thats what really counts

Getting it on the X360. Its a simple choice. Same PES but better graphics and better online. Someone will sort out the kits with a nifty option file editor.

Same, as much as i likie the edit mode, you can't use your kits online. I'll probably spend most of my time online anyway.
