Yes on 360 for me, although all the modes, replays and things missing is a big blow, although its the best pes6 graphically of course, which just about is enough to turn it to a yes. Although playing it in HD mode on both modes, 720p and 1080p (or whatever the 1000 one is) the game is blury as in a trail on the players and slowdown on set plays and sometimes when alot of players are on the screen, the slowdown i have now read other players have, but is the bluring thing a general thing or my tv? Hitachi tv btw pretty decent, so to me it doesn't appear to be tv. hope someone can help.

I got it on wednesday for the ps2! played it quite a bit on my own and had a few games with a couple of mates.
First impressions were good overall!
shooting will take a bit to get used to but i love the lack of the niggly fouls and the sprint button when used at the right time is great aswell!
Editing is pretty much the same which sucks but apart from that its another great installment. I'd give it 4.5/5

if your not happy about the lack of edit mode on xbox you need to ring konami london and make an official complaint and they will put it forward to the developers but everyone needs to ring they need at least a thousand complaints by phone not posted on internet.the number is 02089875730 and ask for lin or richy and they have said they r trying to sort it out but need complaints. plesase post on other sites.

I haven't played much of PES6 for the PS2 after receiving it yesterday. From what I've experienced there isn't much difference in comparison to WE10 gameplay wise. Although it feels on PES6 that long range shooting is more relaxed compared to WE10 as if Konami decided to bring it from PES5. I am very disappointed with the boot editing. Using exactly the same templates. Having Reebok (since the company was bought buy Adidas) as an additional manufacturer is nice touch, but it doesnt improve the fact that the game is still limited to 9 boot types. Other than aesthetics improvements, the game is pretty good so far.

Well the negatives are:

-Keepers are piss poor they palm everything to the strikers
-The play on sign has gone so i can never tell if im given the advantage
- you cant mix and match your kits
-Forget using a diamond against a team like bolton you will get ya ass kicked

The positives

-The passing is a ton better you do actually have to carve openings
- You dont have to have amazing stats to be a great player examples being Steve Sidwell and Joe Hart who have been my best two signings
-Goals look way better because of the keepers diving
-Heading is alot better, i never used target men in the las proevo but now it seems essential
-Gary Neville now cant out pace Kieron Dyer.. the amount of times running down the wing and Gaz Neville finds his turbo boots
- If your strong you actually dont fall over like a tard, and theo walcott cant shrug of campbell

all in all id give this game 9/10

The only thing stopping it being 10 are the negatives and the fact i aint got a quality option file

I bought it for 360 and I am seriously gutted about the lack of features, I mean what were they thinking? But as for graphics/gameplay then I guess it wins me over but I don't much care for the animations such as bookings etc. and the way it jumps at thrown-ins? wtf emm.. the menu is shit as is the text but the gameplay is really realistic but the lack of these features like not being able to edit/save replays and view man of the match is a huge let down for me I guess it will keep me and my dad and mate happy in 2 player but 40 pound? :(

7/10

i got mine for the 360 and i like it i voted yes for the 360. i mean we all new before we got the game what to expect (no edit mode replays and so on) so knowing that i still got the game and think it is very good i mean it would have been nice to edit teams and players but it is not a must. we all new what we where buying when we got the 360 version so i do not think you can complain about no edit mode and so on... anyway my opinion. :)

Played it on PS2 yesterday, absolutely loved it. The gameplay has been improved (a feat in itself) to make it even more realistic and enjoyable. Graphics are as always great. Usually it takes me a few weeks to get used to the new version but I was impressed straight away with this one, easily the best footie game ever.

Only things that let it down are the sound, commentary etc. The general presentation of teh game could be improved too imo, looks all to amatuerish to me. Also the lack of liscences takes something away from that, but nothing a good old patch can't sort out on that front.

Overall: 9/10. Easily best installment yet.

The blury screen you talk about is all to do with your tv's refresh rate. If it cant refresh the screen quick enough you get a blury effect. Try a lower resolution mate, dont have a hd tv myself so not experienced this.

As for my view of the game: shame about edit mode but overall I think its way better than pes5. Graphics are sweet and the animations are really good, especially the keepers. Nice touches like celebrations are cool, picking up the pitchside mic is good. You have to keep possession more as i think tackling is harder against the better players, i.e. ronaldo (man utd) and ronaldhino.

Got it for ps2 and i think its amazing. It will be even better after editing. Feel sorry for all the 360 people who cant edit, i cant understand why its on ps2 and not 360!

Because it took more time than they thought to convert to Next-Gen.

I've had the fortune of playing PES6 on both the xbox360 and PS2. I personally think it (PS2 version) is great, a vast improvement from PES5. There's more options, stadiums (including the bernabeu), balls, licenced teams, etc.. And hey, there are even some supporters in the stadium now!

I can't help but think that the producers of this game try and implement the pace of the Primera Liga into this football simulation, which is by no means a bad thing as I love La Liga. I am referring to the way that they build up possesion from the back and then split the oppositions defence with slick, short and quick passes around the 18 yard box. However the cruyff turn seems to be a little slower and rigid to execute compared to previous versions, but that's my only criticism of the PS2 version so far.

I played the 360 version first and I have no idea what has happened.
- The gameplay seems to be slower, the shooting is terrible (the ball always rises)
- snow is not available in the weather conditions
- there is no individual game records at the end of the match
- the edit mode has been limited to the players ability and age only. You cannot edit the players appearance, teams, boots, stadiums or register / transfer players
- there is a limited choice of stadiums

The only plus is that the graphics are a lot better on the 360. I imagine Konami did the same thing as they did with PES5 on the psp, a job half done. I really have no idea why they did not make more of an effort on the 360 and utilise the consoles facilities. A shame to say the least.

I purchased the game for £24.77 at Asda on Thursday 26th October. I learned a long time ago not to order the game online... ;)

Only one thing to mention about the game so far, which is the refs... They let the niggly fouls go but when they blow that whistle, 8 times out of 10 you'll be booked and they seem to favour the red card from slide tackles, almost every slide tackle, even slightly miss-timed will see you get the red on any position of the pitch...

... Other than that Its excellent and I hav no other bad things to say ;)

360 a stepping stone, PS2 Epic!

My bro is an avid 360 fan, whilst i have stuck to the PS2 so i have had the oppurtunity to play both games.

I don't really understand why PES has been released on Xbox360,when it is quite obviously a pretty incomplete/rushed game. Thats not to say that the game isn't good. I've had plenty of fun on it already. I thought that game was faster than PS2 contrary to other people and found it more end to end, unlike the PS2 where you keep the ball and try and force openings.

The 360 obviously is a vastly superior console, but i don't think Konami have made a big enough effort to improve on its franchise. I think the presentation is lazy, more of a suped up PS2 than 360 game, which games like NBA have shown us. The players are less recognisable in my eyes, with more generic bodies than on PS2, for example Beckham, to me anyway, doesn't look like Beckham around the pitch. It sort of reminds me of the first Pro Evolution Soccer on the PS2, you could see the potential and the jump up was huge, which opened up new gameplay capabilites. This time round i feel the PS2 gameplay is so good that its hard to improve on it even with so much more power.

To summarise the PS2 version is great complete footballing experience and nigh-perfect for me(also a step up in AI, which is alway welcome!). The 360 is,at the minute, a worse game and the graphics aren't that much better for me to warrant a 360 to myself to play with. Next year i'm sure will be the first time i am blown away by a 360 footie game.

PS
Lets just make one thing clear on the 360 Pro Evo is alot better than the new Fifa, which once again makes a mockery of the Licencing agreement it has. They can't even get the face pics right... check out Kevin Lisbie at Charlton.... EA should be ashamed.

got the game on ps2 yesterday and am well happy with it after hammering it all afternoon

i think its a lot more realistic shooting is harder the keepers dont catch everything and defending takes a lot more skill.

I voted no for the PS2 version as well. The slow down is terrible .. cant believe they did that !!!

My game was all about quick counter attacking play with england ... gonna have to play a different way now ( and before u say it yes i know that was probably the whole point )

Will stick with it though .. it normally takes me a few weeks to get to grips with the new PES.
