I was hoping to get it today... but my post always arrives late - im still hoping.
My brother was meant to get it today, but it didn't arrive in his post. Play.com are going down in my estimations.

Should have used shopto.... everyone I know that used them got the game yesterday.... So annoyed.
I'm anoyed too. I don't mind not getting a game a day early however when its late it's pretty anoying. If it doesn't come tommorow I will be so pissed off
I'm living in the UK and I've been using play since 2003 and never had a game arrive late. I'm just going to use GAME in the future

ive orderd from play before and got it early usally a couple of days not this time though was looking forward to playing it over the weekend boo hoo
The pretty obvious answer to this is some of us have jobs you idiot! I'm not very hopeful of my copy being there when i get home. Has anyone actually recieved it from play today?

I'm so annoyed I got the same email as otherw ppl have mentioned on wednesday saying it had been posted. Thought I was gonna get lucky and have it a day early. When I didn't get it.yesterday I was disappointed but got over it.due to the fact that it wasnt meant to be released till 2day. Now I've just rang home and it has not arrived! Now I'm really p*ssed off! For it not to turn up on release day is out of order! That's the whole point of pre ordering it! I can imagine play.com getting a few complaints today!

Yep, me too. Posted on Weds, waited till dinner then fucked off to Tesco to get it 5 quid cheaper. When Play's one does arrive it's getting fucked back in the post as a return. Not even going to open it! I thought they may have sent it first class but no. If they can't have the game out to customers by release day then it's no good to me, especially as it's been pre-ordered for months AND 5 quid more expensive.

My advice would be to ring up Play and complain about the service as pre-orders are guaranteed to arrive on the day of release aren't they?
They may even send out another copy with next day delivery if you phone them quick enough - it's not unheard of and many companies have done it before.

I have done just that! And what are they going to do about it?......................................................Nothing!
Basically their response was "Sorry but you will just have to wait"

No you havent done your part as you should ensure pre-orders are their on release day! There is such a thing as next day delivery your just to cheap to use it!
I will going to tescos after work tonite to buy a copy and will be sending play.coms back.
play.com will not be getting my custom again and I'm sure I'm not the only one!
