This auto slide is crap mate, i was on my master league yesterday and it give away 2 pens

It is really annoying. I lost a game once because of the auto-tackle. Gave away a peno and my player (Mascherano) got sent off as well. Needless to say, I conceded and lost 1-0.

u can actually kinda stop it, it mainly happens when u call another defender over to help u, so if u just have defender (the 1 ur controlling) it doesnt happen hardly. ive only gave away about 2 pens since i got pro due to auto sliding.

The only thing I can suggest,and it has worked for me, is to adjust the mentality and aggressiveness ratings for your players. I havent had any probs since I made the adjustments. The gameplay is drastically affected by the player ratings and when tweaked just right it can make for a much more enjoyable experience. I tweaked passing skills a bit, and it has cut down on most of the ridiculous passing decisions.

I'm not saying to jack everybody up to a 99, but reasonable adjustments really need to be made for a more realistic game.

Man, I was playing a match the other day, i think it was rangers I was playing....

By the end of the match they had 8 players. :erm:

The match finished 8-0.....A goal for each of their players :lol:

What I do is pick the defender that is nearest to the ball all the time. Never give the CPU the opportunity to control the player. I haven't had a problem so far.

Yes, but sometimes when the opposition is attacking from the sides I usually let the CPU control the Sidebacks and I'll control a Centerback. That is when the auto-slide tackle comes in. :angry:

It should only happen when you call for a second player to come and help you out. I get one or two of these per season and I agree it's really annoying as it's always some ridiculously stupid attempt at a tackle.

my problem is online, ive noticed offline there is an opton to on cursor settings to turn assisted off but not online

ive never known a series of games with so much fustrating errors

all it takes is one person who has any sense to change these things
