Is it true Motor Storm has no split-screen multi-player?
I went to the local Chips today and they've sold 3 of the 5 they got in. They were a bit unhappy though, because two of 'em were bought by people just trading shit in. Which is what I'll be doing if I decide to get one :tongue: probably wont mind.

Don't let them as there is a colossal bad point for the 360; PES is far better on the Playstation, infact I prefer my PS2 to my 360.

Im not gonna try sell you the 360, your a big boy who knows what you want. But wait, and I mean wait seriously. It could save you a hell of a lot of money.
You dont owe Sony nothing. Make the best choice for yourself, so make sure you are fully aware of what the other consoles offer and for what price. If the added features of the PS3 are useless to you such as Blu ray, why would you pay up to £200 more?

Got a PS3 yesterday + 2 wireless controllers + the Formula 1 game
The graphics are nothing short of unbelievable, there is such much detail.
Are there any major flaws that you`ve noticed?

Well I payed like 700 bucks, then my parents put in about 500 it was my Christmas present from last year.
The gameplay for the F1 game isn't bad, but it would be better if you could use those steering wheels. The graphics are just unbelievable it's so like the real thing and in the rain the rain goes on your screen. Also the driving aids are better then last year, not as controlling.
Haribo, the steering and driving depends on how you've set up your car, I set my car to have a toe in/out of 0.325 and it was impossible to steer or control the car, then I set it to about -0.010 and it was very nice control and handling, just depends to your car settings.
But sometimes it can be hard to steer, it's a lot different from the PS2 Formula 1, you need practice before racing unless you were really good at the PS2 one. I would highly recommend getting the game. As a new F1 game is at least 4 months away.

Has anyone managed to get online yet? I can't at the moment getting a internet plug thing put into the wall. And I've misplaced my ethernet cable already :unsure:

Ah well, looks like i may just have to buy the PS3. I pre-ordered it from my work but was gonna cancel it today, until i seen the notice in the staffroom saying deposits will only be refunded £20 instead of full £50. So if i was to cancel i'd lose £30, fuck that. May aswell buy it, seeing as i have the money. If i don't like it i'll sell it on eBay or something.:laugh:

I use wireless internet for the PS3 and it works fine, I don't think you need the ethernet cable to go on the internet either which is cool.
The wireless controllers are good also, best thing to do is to charge them for a bit then play, then charge like overnight or something.

The fact that I am not buying a PS3 (R6300) but rather buying a new fridge(R1799), a stove(R1999), paying a deposit on a 2 bedroom home (R2800) as well as the same amount on the 1st months rent....one can see why the PS3 launch was a flop in South Africa Its just too expensive.
