Please help me PATCH my PES 2013

Ive been playing PES since I was, 6-7 and im 17 now. One thing which I know is available but ive never had is the real kits and logo's and I know there is patches for it but there are NO videos explaining in laymens for a noob. Could someone please provide links and step by step instructions (preferably a video you know of) of how to install all the latest kits and logos for PES 2013? id love you forever.

Download the file from the link ^

Unzip the .rar file and copy the folder inside (named PS3) to a flash stick.

Put the flash stick in your Playstation. On the XMB (PS3 menu) go to Game and up to PS3 Saved Data Utility. In there, go into your flash stick and all the PES files will load up (give it a minute- there are nearly 700 files), press Δ and then Copy Multiple. Press Select All, then Okay.

I think that's it. It's been months since I was dealing with option files and I've typed this out from memory away from my PS3.

One little thing for when you get it up and running; there are three players at the bottom of the Created Player list that you can delete- they're private build requests in progress and are only relevant to the fella I'm doing them for, they're not professional footballers.

what you are doing is adding a savegame. you know that when you play ML, BAL or a simple exibithion game the settings, tattics, players stats, etc need to be stored somewhere. all those files combined together formed what we call OF. but this OF can include a lot more: the edited teams and leagues, new players, literally everything you change ingame. so yes, you can trust Meat

Thanks guys, im in the process now. Also, will this effect any of my saved data such as ML? considering im playing from another persons saved game.

I think ML should be ok? I have a feeling it's a separate file. I know you can use multiple leagues as long as you have separate ML files for each.

On another note, I'm sure Meat's OF is one of the best around, so it's a good choice using his. His Premier League editing thread is fantastic.

Yeah I'm afraid it will. Player's names, appearances and positions will have changed but the stats will stay the same. That means that you can get a GK who has CF stats. I'd suggest you should start a new one.

Also, one more thing I should say is that that data needs the latest DLC (4.0) to work so make sure your PES is up to date.

EDIT: Thank you 'phonic. I might be wrong as well, With it being so close to the DLC, you might get away with it- it depends how old your ML is. Give it a try but as with anything like this- backup your stuff before you start.

Hi I followed all the instructions perfectly, I was unaware I had an old data pack so once I copied all the files I went in game and updated to the latest. Nothing has changed, I went back to the xmb and then back in game but still no change.

I think I may have made an error actually, when I went to copy all files It asked me something along the lines of "there is already a file titled PS3. Do you want to overwrite the data" it took me a while considering what to do, I wasnt sure and ended up clicking "do not save" thinking it would save over all my PES data, it still copied all the files you sent me, but maybe the above is why they did not register in game.

Yeah that's the problem. That would mean you haven't copied my Edit Data file so it's still reading from your old one. At that point, you can put whatever other files you want on there and it wouldn't change a thing. All you need to do is copy my Edit Data file from your flash stick and overwrite your old one.

FIXED! because I could not delete all the files without selecting all 700 individually (because I have a number of things I want to keep in the save data utility) I just followed the instructions again on another account and its working. Theres probably a solution to my above problem regarding selecting every individual file so if oyu know one id appreciate it. Also ive been really engrossed in my ML and its quite dissapointing I cant play it now, do you know any way around this? I tried copying the file onto the account with the patch but it says I cant play because its "another users" obviously. But I have to say thanks again for telling me how to patch my game, as I said you have now earnt my love forever lol.

I'm guessing if you copy your ML file over to the second account it gives the same message?

What files are you deleting there and what type are the files you want to keep?

Im slightly confused lol incase of mis-communication on my part I will just explain the situation again. After following all the instructions I realised I had pressed "do not save" and thats why it did not register on account A. The only way I would be able to get the option to "save" again would be if I copied all the files on my USB onto my ps3 AGAIN which would leave me with roughly 1400 files (700 x 2) on account A aha so I opted to just do it on account B and I pressed "save" this time. Everything worked and I copied my ML from account A onto account B but it did not work obviously.

It would be useful if I could have a licensed PES on account A as thats my primary account for gaming, but because I cant "select all" and remove all 700 files from account A without deleting my other gaming data such as Skyrim, MGS4 etc etc I cant do it without selecting all 700 individually. Hoever all of this is not too much of an issue, im happy with using account B for the patch im mainly concerned with playing my Master league with the patch.

Sorry I may not have been too clear earlier so I felt it was neccessary for me to make things a bit easier to understand, thanks for your help mate.

All the other files are already on account A so you don't need to copy them all again.

Once you've done that, you can delete all of the PES files from account B. You don't need them on both accounts.

I've just thought, my PES System Settings file may be in there (the file I uploaded was just my most recent backup). You can delete that from your flash stick. You don't need it on your Playstation.

EDIT: Jesus H. I've just remembered that I've forgotten to replace the duplicate players in the unlicenced national teams after the DLC. If you can wait til tomorrow, I'll fix that and post a link to the updated Edit Data file.

Ok thank you ill definitely do that! it makes a lot more sense now. Regarding ML, is there no way I can continue my original ML which is on account A once I patch it?

You'll be able to carry it on. It's possible that you might see no negative effects as you're effectively starting from a default base. My only experience comes from starting with an option file so I can't honestly say. Let me know how it goes though.
