Possible MAJOR BUG

The worst may have happened. I was trying training, just to do some tricking, when after some time I got bored and figured I might as well try some freekicks. After some freekicks I tried to shoot it under the wall (press long pass (+-full bar) and hold DOWN).

I wish I had never tried it.... I scored 6 goals like that in a row, from different angels, with different players. Now I've tried it in a match vs cpu (CL mode) and it went in as well. It was from about 20 metres, just outside the box(duh).

I hope it was just this one lucky goal in CL mode, because in previous PES versions the free-kick-taking in the training was very different from the in-game freekicks..

Please try it and I hope you'll all fail scoring this way, otherwise it is a MAJOR bummer.

If that's the case, I will very rarely use that. If anyone tries it online, I will stop my wall from jumping.

It's still annoying though, if true.

It's fine to say "I won't use it," but if you're 1-0 down in the 90th minute with a FK 25 yards out and you know there's a way to score a "cheat goal," 9 times out of 10, you'll probably do it for the sake of being able to do it.

I'm not like that. I would do that a couple of times, just because it's new to me or to try it out, but once I've found an easy way to do something, I usually avoid it. Like dummy shots. I avoided it, since the game after it was introduced, but I used it a little in PES2008, because it had been such a long time.

Yeah, I'm not saying you were. I was just pointing out that it's rather annoying to have the option to cheat to score a goal.

Ive found a big Bug online, it happened to me twice in a match. I played it from my defender back to my keeper i held the B button down to clear it and my keeper tried a sliding clearance both times and he cocked it up and kicked it about a foot away from him, then their attacker just scored an open goal. I hope it was just a one off

Does this work on all platforms? Also, anybody able to upload a video of a goal like that? Of course, it's a bit annoying if that works all the time ('though handy if you're in a pickle, even if you may feel like a cheat afterwards). If you're playing against human opponent, yourself or them could just prevent the wall from jumping (but it will be fun to try it a few times against mates, just to piss them off, providing they're not aware of this).

I've scored those sort of free kicks under the wall since pro evo 5 always drives my mates crazy they'll stop jumping after a while so just bang it in the top corner with no resistance. Makes it hard for the oppisition to know what your gonna do and isn't that the point. I think if it's good enough for Ronaldinho it's good enough for me.

I understand that you can just avoid it, and I am sure I have the will-power to do so, but it just feels like you've bought a broken game.

The computer pretty much always jumps up, and it even happens that the ball goes through the legs of two players, even though there's hardly any space.

Just too bad, not saying it's the end of the world -=)

It's hardly a bug!

Much more of a feature.

I've tried it in training, and actual match, even though you can shoot under the wall, you still have to aim it correctly away from the keeper....

And most of the time the wall will block it....

Can you score from it? Yes.

Does it pose an unfair advantage? No.

In that case, it's no bug. Just gives you more options from free kicks.

i scored alot of those in pes 08 aswell but still you dont score all the time with these free kicks.. its not like aim it anywhere nd it goes in.. but still hopefully they will change it in updates so only part of the wall jump or something like that.
