Potential Issues With Patch 1.0.2 ? : Konami might need to send out another patch.
Unless there is a way around these two issues, I think another patch may be needed.
1) The fix to remove CPU player names appearing above the heads of the player is lazy. From what I understand the fix is to go into the menu and switch off player display names, which now switches off the display names for both you and the CPU. Why didn't Konami just add a separate option in the menu so you could remove the CPU player names, I have already seen one complaint for someone who only wanted the CPU player name display removed, NOT THE DISPLAY FOR HIS PLAYERS.
2) (pasted from another thread) There seems to be an issue in master league which means, that in only a few seasons your team can run out of money, simply by just keeping your existing squad and not signing/selling any players, which is not right and we dont remember this being an issue in older versions of PES such as the ones on PS2.
The following discussion took place on www.pesgaming.com and it prompted responses from other players who are having the same issue. Here is an illustration of this issue, can someone from Konami provide a response on this potential issue which we feel could have been made even worse after patch 1.0.2 because the cost of players has risen, therefore If you sign a player and dont sell one to balance the costs, your financial situation could end up so dire, continuing is pointless.
Below is an illustration of the issue, please provide a response that contains an explaination of how this can be avoided and if this cannot be avoided, please patch it ASAP.

THE FOLLOWING QUESTION WAS ASKED ON PESGAMING.COM
Start a season with Real Madrid.
The budget was 255 million.
After salary and operating costs I have 124 million.
Expected earnings are for the rest of the season are +74 million (Sponsorship and income)
So does this mean I start next season with at least 198 million??
Because even if don't buy ANYONE, after salary and operating costs, I will have to pay another 124 million right (wages should be roughly same as last season?) meaning I will start season with about 74 million?
So, i'm already about 60 million pounds down on last year and that's even before I have bought players which are FAR MORE expensive than they used to be, so if this is right how long can this be sustained for? surely you would have to keep selling to be in profit?
THEN ANOTHER USER COMMENTED ON THE ABOVE AND REPORTED THE SAME ISSUE.
If you have 124 million after the first operating cost and your expected earnings are +74 million that mean that you will end the first season with 198 million. But in the start of the second one you will have to pay operating costs again, so you will have 68 millions in the start of the second season.
If your expected earnings stay the same in the start of the third season you will have 10 millions. That mean that in the fourth season you won't have money.
All this without buying players. And assuming you operating costs stay the same which they won't because players salaries will increase very much.
*The fix for this, is most likely to increase the bonus and sponsorship money given to teams each season so they can cope with the increase in player costs, wages and sustain their team for many seasons without having to sell players to survive*
