PowerLFC 2.5 Option File

Hey power mate.

So i got the file installed now and started a new master league. Awesome might i add.

I know you said this is your last file but i've been through all England League teams correctin the line ups and numbers and also removin some players who aren't at the clubs now eg dong fangzhuo for man utd etc. I've jus used wikipedia so some players don't have a squad number in reality so i jus put a random number in the 40's or left it if the number was free.

Anyway, after all your hard work let me know if you want me to send it you to make one final update. If so then jus let me know what to do.

I put edit data on my mem stick/phone, transfer to pc. Then what? Lol.

Hi Bojanst,

Firstly let us thank the efforts of individuals such as LFC and Jordan for taking the time to develop an option file for us all to use. I appreciate how you feel regarding the formations and transfers because like myself the reality of the gameplay is paramount to our better enjoyment of this game.

I think rather than being unfairly critical we should make efforts to constructively improve the OF available, especially as there are not many quality OF's for the PS3 version.

Personally I found the amalgamated OF which has been put up by Coonagh much more representative and realistic in terms of many transfers and players stats however that one didn't seem to have the new England League clubs, ie Hull, West Brom, Stoke.

It depends on personal taste and how each OF plays for each individual. In certain respects the LFC OF is superior and in others I prefer the Coonagh version.

But it helps if rather than being overly critical we are constructive, then we can avoid flamming. Now how can we pull together and make a great OF which many people are content with?

Good option file. The kits have been done to a decent level but people who are moaning about it should really attempt it themselves and find out how insanely hard it is to get everything right for it to look perfect in the game. So, moaners, see if you can do any better before moaning

The main moan to me is more of a personal one and one to do with my beloved side, Stoke City. Just a few players who have been assigned the wrong positions, the away kit is last seasons, the odd spelling mistake and Michael Tonge is missing but they're all easily fixed without taking up much time

Either way.. great effort by the pair of you (LFCPower and Jordan). Can't wait to see the all new PES2009 version in the future

sorry mate, but this OF is not so good everybody says it is. Especially the dutch league you probably forgot?!? (not interesting enough?!?). Look at Ajax: still Perez in it (Twente), Kuffour (left), no Cvitanich (new striker) etc. Look at PSV: still Rajkovic (Twente) etc etc.

So sorry, but this OF will not be used by me.

But, I hope others will enjoy this file.
Anyway: thanks for trying creating an OF LUFC because it is an awefull lot of work.

Right. So i've corrected all numbers in the prem. I'll admit to bein lazy tho with the startin lineups. All i did was his hit square and it auto fills every position with the best player for the position altho a few alterations have been made. Correct captains for every club. Removed players no longer at clubs but again some i have left and allocated numbers 99 etc. Spurs was hard cos half the squad don't have numbers in reality so players like rocha have random numbers but players in real life first team have correctly allocated number. I've not bothered with kick takers apart from puttin who i reckon should take them so again may not be to true life.

I will post it up as soon as someone tells me how to do so.

for anyome that uses this file, i would reset all liverpool manu and chelsea players cos i can see some extremley biased editing going on

I agree, good but shame about the bias towars scouse and the M.Power fella that spoils it a bit. Plus there's a load of Liverpool and Everton legends keep popping up when I play ML and a lot of the nationalities are wrong so therefore the national teams are wrong as well......seems you've done the hard stuff well (kits formations etc.) but have not changed the nationalities for some players and have personalised it a bit too much.....big thanks for the ahrd work though

For those that have asked and for the pillocks that decide to be picky over the smallest thing here is LFCPowers OF with the following.

*Everything that LFCPower did - and that was a hell of a lot!!!
*EPL Correct squads - players removed and a few transfers made eg; Dong Fangzhuo removed from Man Utd, Henri Camara sent back to Wigan etc.
*EPL Correct Squad numbers as best I could - youth players without a squad number in reality have jus been given a random number and also half of the Spurs squad on the game are reserves due to Ramos demoting half of them so the players on the game that actually have a squad number in reality are correctly allocated but anyone else just has whatever they already had.
*EPL - Correct captains assigned for every team apart from Man U cos Gary Neville is official captain and Giggs is vice captain and neither are in my starting line up so it's Rio. Feel free to change.
*Line ups Corrected - I'm not saying they are correct but I have gone through each team and pressed Square [] so it auto fills every position with a player that plays there although some teams (the ones i know the line ups of) have been tweaked slightly to make them correct.
*I said Kick takers had been updated but they haven't cos it seems instead of saving the changes when watchin TV i just left my PS3 on and my girlfriend has just come along and switched it off and TBH i couldn be arsed doin them again cos to me they not that important and can be changed at the time of takin the kick anyway.
*Updated Theo's stats cos even though we are only a month into the season he has already shown that the stats given to him already seriously under value him.
