Has anyone every been relegated in the master league? If so, what team were you and how did you do so bad?

I have never been relegated eitther. When I have been promoted, I have always finished mid table or better the following season and improved from there. I would like toknow fromthose who have been relegated. Not to rib them, but to know what it felt like and what impact it made on their team and ML points.

Can't imagine ever finishing outside the top 2, and that would be with a very average side, so can't ever even start to imagine getting relegated...

Waiting....
I don't think anyone has been relegated. I always start on 6* when in the 2nd division and I always get promoted, and I stay up. The 1st season in Division 1, I might struggle to get top 2, but then once I get good players, I win it pretty much all the time.

I think players should test themselves by giving their team a salary cap to work with to stop the team having 25 superstars and winning every game at a stroll. Would make it a bit more interesting coz its unrealistic to have Ronaldo on the bench half the season and then him accept a new contract worth about 50 pts more.

My next ML, I will work out a challenging salary cap to stay within playing on 6*. Any suggestions as to what the salary point cap should be?. I like a good challenge!

I blue myself
Well my usual cap is a healthy 14,000 - 15,000. I think 10,000 would be a good challenge, as you'd have to cut back on numbers in order to preserve the quality of key players. A nice double challenge there.

I think its a great idea to cap salary points.

Its not good when someone plays ML and they win everything in sight with their suqad full of superstars who are always happy. Its not realistic. Capping salary points not only creates a challenge but maintains it as long or as short as the player wishes.

Maybe instead of saying... "ok, I will put a 10,000 cap on my team", players can cap the salary on the basis of average per player coz some squads are bigger than others. Easy to do... total salary divided by number of players. Have you got a suggestion for this?. A good permanent challenge for average salary per player.

i've never been relegated or neither i had any of my PES buddies being relegated... dun tink it' quite possible to be relegated in the 1st place... i supposed they made it for u to carry on n on, seasons after seasons... the worst i've encountered is 3rd in 1st division on 5*... and yeah... i have a team of world-class world beaters, with players easily being able to fit into any team in the world... but who won't want a bunch of superstars playing silky football, winning in style instead of efficiency...

yea thats what i am going to do. I going to stick with my team and only buy a few average players.

I usually do a transfer limit. Like no more than 3 additions to the original squad. So you have to transfer wisely. And unless you limit yourself with a lotta things, and compose a very hard ML, it seems pretty hard to fall in that situation. it;d be fun to try not to be relegated. there's that side of the competition too...

You'd have to be seriously shit (and patient) to get relegated.

The worst I finished was 5th with the default team they give you.

It pisses me off abit that even if i play complete shit on 6 star i still finish 1st or second with the people below me like 20 points lower. This is something that neeeds to be worked on 4 pes6.
