Played this last night, didn't feel Resi Evil honestly, and the control feels really clunky.

I feel the same way, it didn't give me the feeling of past resident evil.

OK so they said that there would be no running and shooting controls but on other forums I've read they're now say that they will have this option.
It would be a welcomed addition because there are a hell of a lot of enemies on screen sometimes. I just want it confirmed though.
When is the release date?

Isn't there a vid of a Capcom guy saying it will be added?
I've seen it, it was around the demo release.
Unless they've changed their minds.

I would prefer a walk and shoot option not a run and gun, there has to be some tension left in the game, running will make it feel like Gears of War.

I don't get the modern control. You can "strafe and move around, not going to be moving and shooting though".

remember... strafing is sidestepping only...

Yeah, i agree mate.

I think the reason why you can't run and shoot is to create tension and make things Claustrophobia.

I still think it's a good game.

I've just played the demo. It looks stunning. I hope however the game itself has more of a dark lighting aspect, as being out in the sunshine will ruin the Resident Evil atmosphere for me.

I got the game on Sunday and its brilliant, quite hard but extremely good.

The only bad thing about it is that you cant move and aim at the same time. I am only on the second chapter so far but I really can't get enough of it.
