Once you get over the whole rewriting-the-end-of-the-movie thing, Scarface: The World Is Yours is a competent but usually uninteresting action game.
The Good: If you hit the talk button when no one is around, Tony starts cursing at no one; decent targeting system makes shooting easy.
The Bad: Boring missions; flat dialogue and storyline; rewrites one of the most iconic scenes in film history to justify its existence.

I love ordering your car on the phone, that is class, especially when some gang are blowing your arse off. I tried to defend that black guy's brother, you know your drug dealing dreadhead. Safe to say i got murdered and so did he. There seems to loads of little gangs around and i have only took around 7 percent of little havana, a long way to go i think

I had the same problem with this mission except I went to kill the gang coming up the road thinking the man I was protecting was safe. blew the shit out of the gang only to get mission failed there was a sneaky bastard hiding in some bushes with a smg shortly after I was gunned down by the police.

Bought the game today and so far, I'm fairly happy with it.

Very similar to The Godfather in my opinion, but slightly more difficult. Then again, it can't be too hard because I'm shit on games like this and I've gone quite far already.

It is a quality game!! I've taken over the whole of Little Havana & am working my way through Downtown now.

I was trying to lose the cops the other day & went up this ramp right into the water. Jumped out of the car to swim off & the shark came from nowhere & ate me!! I shit myself!! :shocking:

I reckon it's pretty much the same as GTA but miles better than Godfather.

I've rented it, thus far, I'm enjoying it. Is similar to Vice City in terms of environment and feel however that was always going to be inevitable.

What I want to know though, is there anyway to kill civilians ? I've tried but it just doesn't seem to work, Montana backs down and seemingly shits himself.

I don't think so tried it over and over again and he just quotes a part of the film (I've never killed any one who did not have it coming to them) or something like that you can run them over but it's not as good as blowing their heads clean off their shoulders.

Can anyone who has had this game for a while, tell me if this game is good value? Too often, I buy a game that looks like fun, play it for an hour, and then it never sees the light of day again.

I've seen a few videos of this game, and it looks great fun, but does it keep you interested for long?

It gets boring after a while Reyes mate. Get Medieval II a much better choice for addictice game play and value

This game starts out great and then becomes one of the most frustrating I've ever played. You buy henchmen to protect your properties and for some reason they're armed with fucking swords, oh well, you've only gotta get from South Beach to Havana (or whatever the fuck the first city is called) shouldn't take long in a lorry(!), but it does because gangs chase you and barge you into fucking lampposts. That "fill up the fucking circle" thing ends up driving me fucking crazy too.

Not bad for £20 though.

My brother has it for the Wii. I haven't played it yet, but he says it is good once you get into it. The problem is people find it hard to get into it.
