I am at Uni currently. If I had a TV, I might bring my PS3, but I'm not gonna bring both a TV and a PS3. I'll be coming back fairly regularly though, so I'll be on from time to time.

You need to bring your TV and PS3 over, to stop you popping back home frequently! Enjoy your freedom. :)

Skyrim Premium edition info...

The console version includes a map of the world, a T-shirt bearing the emblem of the Empire, the spin-off novel "Die Höllenstadt" - "Hell City", according to Google Translate - and six concept art postcards

Source

PS3 owners shouldn't hold their breath for the DLC packs as I can find no confirmed info one way or another, but chances are it won't be there.

Does question the point of the premium pack though, it's basically a re-release of the same game, slightly different packaging, a T-shirt and some post-cards but will cost you more a than the original a year after it's release. Pointless.

I'm on the mission where you need to find the Elders' Scroll. I think I'm going to do some side quests before procedding to the main storyline. At the moment, I'm on Forbidden Legend. I wish I had a companion on this. Those Frostbite Spiders creep me out.

I hate the Chaurus creatures, the ones that spit venom at you. Those are nasty, creepy sods!

No release date yet. I'm pretty sure they're still working on it. I hope they give us a good deal on the DLC, because us PS3 users have been completely fucked over.

Probably never, the PS3 memory issues means the engine works like shit and the DLC will onlymake matters worse.

Buy an xbox or a PC if you want to be a proper faggot.

I despise the fuckers. Can sneak past the blind Muppet falmer with ease, but I always end up walking right into one of these poisonous little buggers.

Bang on. There is still talk of Skyrim making a Sony appearance, the dev's are allegedly still trying to iron out the creases and are supposedly nearly there, but I guess only time will tell.

Battered the Dragonborn DLC... It's okay, but lacks a certain something, other than longevity. The ability to ride a Dragon is nice, but ultimately bloody useless. You cannot just fly across the map as whims take you, but instead ride the beast in endless circles until you get bord/shot down or land (in which instance the Dragon ups and fucks off.) the only way across the map and to stay on the thing is by fast travel. Very poor effort. Even a basic waypoint setting would have been preferable. Bit of new armour and weapons, but nothing that looks that new.

Future DLC on the horizon for the first half of 2013 is said to include the settling/history of the Nords in Skyrim, along with some more SNow Elf lore and perhaps even the appearance of the Dwarves. There is also talk of the continuation of the main story with choice of a new King and the build-up to the foretold battle with the Elves...

I used to be annoyed about not having access to the DLC but as soon as I heard what was actually in it I wasn't that bothered anymore.

In a way I'm glad I didnt have access to it straight away because it sounds like a bloody rip off.

I've been happily ploughing through the DLC this past few weeks. Finished the main Dawnguard quest (as a werewolf) and am now working my way through Dragonborn. My game is really struggling at times now though, my saved game file is up to 16mb.

I think I need to get rid of some of my stored shit, that might lower the size of the file perhaps? Problem is, very few of the vendors have a decent amount of money so that I can sell them stuff. I've got fuck loads of enchanted weaponry which I rarely use (mainly because I can't be arsed refilling the enchantment with soul gems).

pj_puttz - the DLC isn't a rip-off, I've gotten about 35hrs out of it so far ( ), and I'm not finished with it by a long shot.

Amazing game.

Amazingly, I stopped playing it because it's so overwhelmingly massive.

Regardless, it's by far the best RPG I've ever played.

I've been playing it again recently. Trying to get myself up to at least level 70, so I can get all the DLC trophies, but it's proving to be difficult. All the skills I had at 100, I've made "Legendary" (ie all perks reset, and skill goes all the way down to 15), but I don't really have any more quests to do.

Yeah I had only read about Hearthfire which seemed to be pointless and also read that Dawnguard was full of annoying bugs. Since hearing other good things about Dawnguard and Dragonborn I bought them both and they have reawakened my love for all things Skyrim!

I'm up to level 68 now and have been using destruction and conjuration magic instead of my usual Daedric sword to keep things fresh. Completed Dragonborn which was not bad but the bits in Apocrypha were ugly and annoying and have just about finished Dawnguard as a vampire though I have been putting off the final quest to get all the side quests done.

I have a save file just before I decide whether to become a vampire or not so I'm going to load that up and do it over again as a werewolf as soon as I've finished the vampire story. The biggest bug I've found so far is that whenever I go underwater the game crashes but apparently you can fix this by uninstalling and reinstalling the game data. When you have Azidahl's boots of waterwalking that's not really necessary though.

My save file is up to 18 meg now which is fucking insane. I'm a bit of a hoarder right enough and have an unbelieveable amount of top notch shit stashed in every gaff I own. This has it's drawbacks though as I discovered the other day when had a real facepalm moment.

I was at the College of Winterhold to get the extra quests done related to having Destruction and Conjuration magic levelled up to 100 and I decided to have a wee chat to the old guy (I forget his name) there. He only went and gave me a quest to seal a rift created by a mission I thought I had finished ages ago.

The facepalm came when he said "I hope you still have the Staff of Magnus......" and I thought "aaaahhh bollocks."

No doubt I DO still have the Staff of Magnus but it could be in any one of my gaffs buried in a chest amongst tons of other crap or on display or in a drawer or a cupboard or fuck knows where.

I'll no doubt make the effort to find it one day and do the quest but right now taking on the "Dragonborn Travels Skyrim Looking For His Staff That He Knows He Put Somewhere But Cant Remember Where" quest just doesn't appeal to me.

Same here. You collect all these weapons which (at the time) you think you'll use at some point.... but you never actually do. For example, I don't think I'll ever find a more useful 2 handed weapon than the Bloodskal Blade, yet I'll still hoard any other decent ones that I find!

Another problem is, none of the merchants seem to have a lot of money, so it's hard to sell all the shit! I have my main home in Whiterun, my "dorm room" in the College of Winterhold, my built house (Hearthfire DLC) near Falkreath, and also a place in Solstheim.

I had a moment like that, it was with those Dragon Priest masks. If you collect them all you get access to some secret place. I think I sold one of them and I don't know who I sold it to. Not sure if you can get them again?

One of the perks I took from one of the Black Books in Dragonborn was to summon a Dremora merchant and he always has 2 grand on him. You can only summon him once per day though so it's a bit of a grind. I have over 100 grand in coins anyway (which doesn't stop me from taking a measly 2 gold from dead bodies or urns I find, must be a Scottish thing ;) ) so I dont need to sell anything. Besides, it's MY treasure! I earned it, I stashed it and goddamn it I might never actually USE it but it's MINE! ALL MINE! IT'S NOT FOR SALE AT ANY PRICE! BWWWAHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I didnt realise that! Though I seem to remember a bug I encountered where I killed one of the Dragon Priests and he didnt leave his mask behind so I can never collect all of the masks. Not to mention the fact they're scattered all over Skyrim in various properties. As usual.

Nope, I do it too. Look in every urn, every body and every chest, and pick up every coin. Remember my motto (which I actually came up with whilst playing Fallout 3) - "Ghouls/Draugr always carry caps/gold"

Always wondered what Draugr spend their gold on.

Moisturiser?
