For me its the childhood memories...I literally grew up playing the original game every other day, for years...

Its gunna be great when I get it man....

I wouldnt say its better than tekken though...im a big tekken fan, but i also love street fighter aswell

Can someone tell me the appeal to this game? As in, what makes this better than the other fighting games such as Soul Calibur and Tekken?

All reviews have pretty much said this is one of the best fighters ever.
Trust me this is awesome.

I'm up for giving anyone a game.
I'm not great, but competent.

I really like that Abel dude man....he's cool man...Also the Hadouken looks so good!

Akuma is very strong, but his Ultra and Super combos are very difficult to pull off, that's why I don't like him. Gouken is a beast man believe me.
I unlocked all characters but Seth already

Anyone else having trouble with Guile aswell? Just seems really hard to play with...Its a bit shit because he's like my second favourite character aswell :\

His moves are a little hard with a normal controller with a fight stick/pad its really easy to pull it off.

I am finding unlocking to be a real pain in the ass!
I cant pull of these ultra combos, I know all the 3 punch/kick buttons are mapped as L1/L2 on the PS3 but its the whole motion of doing down, down right, right etc..

Although I'm pretty unstoppable with Dhalsim.

Dhalsim is awfully slow.

Oh and I don't think this game has the mini games that were on II.

Yeah but he can breathe fire and his limbs stretch, so Dhalsim = win :lol:

I still love playing as Ken though...

Balrog I think is pretty shit aswell, can't really seem to do anything with him other than single punches
