I would like to apologise to the five of you for my inability to score last night (it will drag on undoubtedly). I was unlucky to hit the post twice (the chip and the left-foot curler from outside the area) but one or two shots were unforgiveable.

Also THAT penalty in the shoot-out - if it helps me in the slightest, that was my VP's first competitive penalty. Heard the ball was orbiting the sun this morning.

The chip was nice, shame it didn't go in. You'll score soon enough, as you always seem to beat the offside trap.

And don't worry about the penalty. You should have been around to see some of the shoot outs we had a few months ago :lol:

I think we won about 4 last night, draw 1 and lost 1. Results are looking really good. I think we're not too far away from smashing a team.

Sweey, at least you have an excuse, your VP is still relatively on the shit side. I on the other hand have no excuse for my abysmal finishing, I seem to be in a real rut in terms of finishing chances. I got one last night but should have had four or five. On the plus side it wasn't me who ballooned it over from about 8 yards out...

There were some rather comical moments last night but unfortunately I didn't think we played anywhere near our best. Our pass completion was way down mostly, we seemed to be forcing the game to much and there was a lot of dubious calling for the ball (though some might be dodgy CPU behaviour). I'll openly say I thought I had a particularly poor night, which I'm putting down to an horrendous mood, intake of alcohol and in the last game laggy nonsense. I should still apologise though as it was not a good showing.

The good news is the results still came, we really battled hard and even in the game we lost I felt we were unfortunate.
