My favourite has to be street fighter but super smash bros melee is really fun and especially when its a 4 player beat em up

streets of rage was awesome!! wot a gr8 game to play wif ur mates. never ever got bored of that series. wkd story lines too! maybe didnt have huge amount of longitivity but it was quality! the characters were class too... Axel, Blaze, Adam, Skates and u cud even get to b a boxing kangaroo in streets of rage 2. how quality! special moves and double team moves were wkd! just press 'A' forget all these fancy combo... 'A' simple as that.

ARGHH i read that after i voted for streets of rage (my first beat'm up)
blast you!!!!!!!

Mortal Kombat was great but what makes it better than Street Fighters is that it had a better movie.......i played hours on end w/ my mates back in yr2 hangin out by the tv and hearing arg argh argh....FINISH HIM till sunrise, and then the MK on N64 was superior....to any thing else, Tekken had its time but twas abit easy and didnt have the cool factor(erhm sub zero erhm)

Isnt Soul Calibur up there?(Dreamcast)
Its very deep and has so many moves, its the best, i loved the weaopons.
Virtua Fighter 4 is amazing too and SSB Melee was great fun.
