-Large scorelines ( I thought it was the more realistic? )
-Get RONALDO and run down the side line ( Realistic? )
-Only about 4 goal variations ( Realistic? )
-Custom tactics ( LOL, if you believe in it than you are EXACTLY who EA intended it for )
-Every player is a great passer ( realistic? )
-No freedom in dribbling ( realistic? and I am not talking about how many directions you can go but how you cant pass a defender )
-Shitty-scripted net reaction after a goal ( realistic? )
-Play through balls the whole game and itll work ( Realistic? )
-Hold 'X' or 'A' and take the ball every time ( realistic? )
-Ball floats to the moon ( Realistic? )
-Score from half field every time at kick off if you know how ( realistic? )

but dont worry: EA has got you little covered.

You will get an IMPROVED MANAGER MODE... ( ok...)
You will get a SET-PIECE editor...( greatest thing ever! )
And they will make the game more enjoyable... ( i mean how vague is that LOL? )

I am sure there is more so feel free to add to it...

p.s. I feel sorry for people who support FIFA. It makes me think that you have never touched a football with your real foot ( not the virtual one ).

When PES used to be the dominant force CLEARLY...did any of you morons who are on EAs side now go to a FIFA forum and tell them how shit their game is back then?

There are numerous AI cheating threads for you to educate yourself on, because you obviously didnt know it existed, you can also go on to evo web, and see the reaction on their as the videos were announced for further confirmation.

I mean you cant even understand the basic concept that being able to score the same 2/3 goals every time against the computer completely defeats the idea of teamvision (which you yourself defined) and started some long ass rubbish about fifa and "pes's ai isnt perfect" which had fuck all do with what was asked.

Check evo web forums, for the discontent on whats been shown, infact dont, just buy pes 2010, then pop back into the feedback forum a week later with a list of shit to change.

you only have to listen to some of them they dont know jack shit about actually playing a real sport there arm chair jockeys living in the past when the game was slow enough for there slow reactions and boring play.

the best one is the one about messi cross to henry wear they claiim the ball curls one way then the other when it clearly doesnt.

also the constant stab at the goalkeepers when people are playing on the simple simon level like normal or amatuer at gamescom so the keepers wont be as good.

Um, I play the game. I have my complaints. I let Konami know about them. I don't need other people to make up my mind for me, thanks. I don't like PES out of brand loyalty or because of it's rep. I'd been hearing the hype for years about the superior gameplay but only started playing it a couple years ago FFS. As I said, started out on ISS 64, bought last year's game, thought it was nearly great. I like it because I prefer it to the alternative. On the same topic, part of why I hate my job is because I hate brainless ****ers telling me what to do. But that's unrelated...

There's someone exactly like you who posts on the official Oasis board which in my misguided earlier teen years I used to frequent. He refused to acknowledge that anything about Oasis wasn't horrible, and constantly cited some invisible consensus that Don't Believe the Truth (it was new at the time) was the worst album ever. The icing on the cake was that, like you, he claimed to be a FORMER Oasis fan who stopped liking them when they 'became shit' (read: fell out of favour with the indie mags when they realized the Gallagher brothers don't like Americans) and had made it his mission to spread the word about the excellence of Broken Social Scene and other Radiohead ripoff bands by wasting his time flaming a board for a band he hated. He also constantly linked people to reviews on Pitchfork Media for a bunch of shitty Radiohead and/or Morrissey ripoff bands.

What proevofan just posted above is spot on. Instead of focusing on improvements to gameplay and AI, which is just what PES have done with their publicity, you get a set piece editor and better manager mode. Yeeep.

Then to top it off, you dont even think there is an AI problem on pes 2009, despite that being one of the main gripes fans have with the series and the subject of several threads on this forum

Yeah I know, at one point most of the US national team was from St. Louis. Really a shame. Maybe you can get in on the next round of expansions though, according to rumours Montreal is essentially in for sure by 2014, and hopefully you guys can get in at the same time.

You wont need me to tell you how and why it doesnt work.

Give it some thought, go and play pes on very hard-top player, doing 15 season stints with one team on master league, and then come back and repeat that crap you wrote above.

PES is more a game for people who want competitive football.

FIFA is more of a game for people to pick up and play.

U can score a 100dred and many more ways in FIFA. Its not everytime the same goal like people say.

FIFA is animated far greater then PES but this destroys the gameplay in some way that PES doesn't.

In PES if you play a good player u cant run threw the wings with one player. U need to work to get a goal..

In PES u can make strategy's to disable MESSI and C.Ronaldo and the likes...

I dont know.. if you guys ever played top level players, and if you get destroyed its because you lack skill..

Its no excuse to say you can run with one player threw the defence with either game.

I must say that this was the case in PES 2008 where defending was impossible..
