We can't deny that the game is very promising, the graphics alone is a testimony to the improvement of this year's version.I think it might come through too, but perhaps not because of what perfectstrik is saying.
Sorry mate(perfectstrik) this all just sounds to damned good to be true. I hope you are right though, and I hope you will be on these boards again soon telling us "I told you so"!
All I say is this.
A couple of days ago PerfectStrik publically come on here and said FIFA is complete and that there is much more to be added to PES2010.
Which begs the question, what exactly is Konami hiding from ea,
The sliders which already exist in fifa 09, why would fifa go all out to copy them? Lol
Another thing which doesnt make sense is, why are Konami hiding major ideas from a game that is due out in about 6 weeks, do they really think fifa are gonna start nicking animation engines off them with 6 weeks till release. lol.
On the animations themselves, people keep referring to them as making an Amazing difference, what they fail to remember is that fifa has been using them for years, and pes was better than fifa in the past even when they were using mo-cap.
Thats because animations alone are not the be all and end all, alot depends on the engine that comes with it.
Why are konami deliberately releasing sub par builds to 'fool people' when they can release amazing builds, get feedback and make those builds even better. Why would you let people playtest something that is sooo different to the final version, commercially its useless and how can they take feedback on something that wont even represent what will be released
In regards to konami and 360 movement, I believe they told gamespot they werent intending on using it this year, then all of a sudden, they brought it out.
Konami in their press release said
"The announcement comes following Konami’s close contact with the global network of PES and football fans, who have played a key role in the development of the new game. Via forums and feedback, the PES Productions team in Tokyo has canvassed opinion on elements fans hoped to see included in PES 2010, and 360-degree control was part of the long list"
So it seems it was added due to fan demand (eg, when pes fans found out that fifa had it), nothing regarding it being tested for years.
Oh, 360 movement was fully intended to be in PES2010 don't worry about that!
I can't possibly say anything else regards what perfectstrik has said, but 360 movement was in from day one of development. There are folk who knew about that a long time ago trust me.

"Just to calm things down whilst adam is away on vacation. This post is highly exagerated....
Its simple, videos will not do PES or even FIFA very much justice. I think FIFA shines more in videos because it has as rediculous amount of animation and they have a huge motion capture library that get expanded every year. I believe they only use under 5% of the library per game. Then again EA have been in motion capture business for years.
PES 2010 is a good game and animations have been expanded with the motion capture, but they arent in the same league as FIFA. Konami have done alot since then and provided a polished game which looks incredible and plays good. Have they done enough to keep the PES fans happy... only time will tell.
That post above is a massive exageration. Konami dont trust WENB? Then why would they give Adam code.
In the next few weeks much more will become clear especially with demo's coming out over the next month or so. A FIFA demo will hit towards mid sept and then a PES one that i predict will be available early october."
Over to you pefectstrik...
