Dude... Konami don't have the same resources EA do. They rely on sales of their cult classics like PES, DDR, Metal Gear Solid, etc. while EA have tons of games each selling zillions of copies. They obviously need to sell games, which is why Seabass has to hype each year's PES. I'd gladly take a finished game every two years over an incomplete one annually, but it's never going to happen. If anything, admitting that a better game could be made with more time is being more honest. EA Sports have released more incomplete transition games than I can count. NHL '95 and '97 are two games that come to mind off the top of my head, both bare-bones versions of a game rushed to store shelves. 96 and 98 were the same thing, but completed (and both are absolute classics might I add).
