Just faced Atletico for the first time in the cup, they now have Villa AND Aguero up front

That's crazy, and happened in mine, too. They brought in Huntelaar and Villa the same summer I joined Sevilla, and were far and away the league's highest scoring team that year, though we did the domestic double with our ridiculously tight defense.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:

S14 Quick Turn

So, I'm on my fifth season and playing for A.c. Milan. I played my fist two seasons in Willem II, and seasons 3 & 4 for Chelsea. So far i've only got one special ability, which is kind of disappointing. In PES09 I got many more special abilities with similar stats. But nevertheless, I'm doing quite good. I've won the Eredivisie and KNVB cup while playing for Willem II. And with Chelsea I won The UEFA Europa League and Premier league. And i was also runner-up in the FA cup. In National level I won the World Cup and was third in the European Championships.

Im kind of annoyed i was in the semi final of the europia league im athletico madrid and we were playing liverpool the 1st leg was 0-0 and in the 2nd leg it was 0-0 up till extra time, in the last 2mins liverpool scored, now i think its scripting and it had penalties all over it i belevie that was suposed to happan.

But it wasnt a liverpool goal it was a shot keeper saved it and my teammate just walks it in the net for an own goal but yet still moves about like it didnt happan my point is the amount of own goals scored in this game is abosoulty ridiclious and konami need to sort this.

Early second season, a WF playing as SMF for PSG, with an average of 74.

Anybody can give me a clue on how a BAL is going to grow? As in an average of x at age y, provided that he plays ~30-40 matches a season?

My DMF is 100 or 101 at 25. Guess it depends on your starting stats and growth point allocation, as well.

I see, and seeing that starting stats don't vary that much, I suppose it's high enough to reach 90s in your mid-20s.

How did you allocate your focus points? I put 6 on shooting and dribbling on the first year, and 4 on shooting, 2 on dribbling, 6 on speed on the second (halfway). Is that bad?

Marseille came in January transfer window, day one, and offered me a contract. Left PSG, and was a great decision. They put me in the starting 11 after one match as a sub, place me in my original WF position, and generally play as a team better than PSG.

On 2nd, aiming to topple Lyon in the Ligue 1 championship race. Finally a team that's winning in a regular basis.

PSG is third from bottom now! That's awful.

Another problem winning the game 3-2 and the other team is on attack down the wing my defender tackles him and nothing on no preasure just needs to clear it and the game would end.

But no he cant do that he has to cross the ball in our own penalty area where my keeper and defender get caught up and david villa scores an equalier FFS all this is really pissing me off.

The Ligue 1 really is a great league to start in. Not that highly rated, compared to Premiership or La Liga, so it enables you to get a starting spot faster. More first team matches = better rating, and thus, faster!

No secret that the AI still needs fixing. Players LOVE it to run away from the ball, or blocking own teammate's shot on goal. Granted it doesn't happen most of the time, my current team is very noticeably less idiotic than my previous ones, but still.

True. The top three leagues are a bit tougher, and Eridivisie doesn't really have top-ranking teams; Ligue 1 is in the Goldilocks zone.

Still, I plan to move out to Serie A before turning 20. But only for its top 5 giants.

Starting stats have a bigger effect if you get something like really good stamina. Mine started at 87, so I was able to play lots of matches from fairly early on without a break.

There's no bad with points, just depends on what you're trying to do. My primary focus was to get my player strong enough to use his size effectively and physically dominate the central midfield, so, originally, I set mine up like this:

Kicking: 4
Dribbling: 0
Balance: 5
Power: 1
Speed: 2
Stamina: 0

Once I got my defense, passing and heading to a decent level, I just went back and distributed the points to areas previously neglected as the notion took me. For instance, I decided to max my stamina, then improved my attacking and shooting, then dribbling. Currently, I have the points fairly evenly distributed and am still improving.

Here are (terribly low quality) pics of my stats:

That's awesome! Makes me want to play until at least 24 years of age.

My BAL is 168 cms tall though, so I chose to focus on his speed instead. A bit pointless to try to make him a tough fighter.

Saturday,

Won the Ligue 1. Got offers from Valencia and Man City. No more Villa there in Valencia, so I figured I better serve Adebayor or Robinho than some anonymous. Went to City. Got a no. 7 jersey.

Not impossible. As a striker, I ever scored more than 1 goal per match ratio on Top Player once. That's on second season, though only once and, well, as a striker. And I had a crappy first season. Had to do with the fact that I play for 20 minutes I suppose.

But here's a curious thing: > 7.5 overall in third season and only plays for Monaco? Offers from BAL sucks indeed. Been there, done that. Good rating, doesn't seem like skipping games, lots of goals, even assists. No room for complaints really. What gives? Dan, what's Monaco's team ranking in your game? Is it in the top 20?

I'm now playing a winger at the same season as him on Professional, never scored/assisted more than one digit number, overall about 6.8, and in Summer 2011 got me offers from City at rank 12.
