I don't think so. If you haven't been substituted, maybe your team (the player in the starting XI that plays the same position as yours) did play well and the manager didn't need to use your skills, even though you may be better than his actual performance.

Halfway through my 3rd season, now with Lyon. The team doesn't seem to be playing as well as they should be, we are 5th in the league (after they won by a landslide last year). Just been knocked out of Champions League (needed to win the last game, i scored and was taken off, then we conceded and drew ) and am seriously considering a transfer... I'll see what offers i get.

I played for hull manged to get some games scored once and made an assist but they were just to shit and it made me worse.

So im now at sunderland where im only on the bench atm but when i come on i seem to really well with darren bent so far its going good.

Anyone play with the camera type set to player like me? i highly recommend it its so awesome seeing the pitch up close and taking on defenders up close. it took me some getting used to but now i am setting up plays, making runs and what not. the view of the stadium is so awesome as well.

anyways i went for SMF but i am currently playing RWF for Heracles Almelo. getting shots, sending crosses and everything is much more fun with the player camera type, also if you think its too easy i also recommend you use this camera type.

I did try that camera angle but didnt really like it and went back to the original.

I think the original view is harder than player view... Anyways, everyone's got their own view which makes the game more enjoyable for them!

I always feel like trying new camera angle but I end up playing on WIDE mode only. It's just uncomfortable to play on other angles after a point. WIDE modes gives me a free role for decision making..
Any tips or suggestions so as to be able to play on other camera angles, anyone?

I couldn't see the ball in Wide, so I played with Normal Long for a while. Recently, though, I switched to Vertical Wide Player and I like it a lot. Makes it WAY easier to get shots on target, though it is more difficult to tell if your teammates are onside or not.

^For some reason I still prefer the normal long camera as I can move freely.

I switched to the default side-on camera in the 09 game, with the camera following the player and found I was much better afterwards than before I switched.

I got send off today and it wasnt good, basicly all your managers rating bar which was full took a mager dip and half the bar was gone red, i felt like a noob again back to training and finally got back to the bench.

So id say to people to think carefully if your going in for a slide tackle.

I got yella carded at most, i dont tend to slide

Im still at spurs and in my 4th season i think, in champs league still but off the pace in the league by 10pts so it will be hard to regain the title, but im doing shite this season and cant seem to cross or score

Most of my fouls are offsides even though I am... midfielder!

I haven't got any yellows in nearly 2 seasons.

Hey guys

Just wondering how you pick up more positions in your stats. I've played 5 seasons in my SMF role, my overall rating is 88 and I'm still not being played in any different spots. I'd like to try out WF, it'd suit my play style better.

Is it stat related or do extra positions get added to your statistics if you get played in them by the coach? I just transferred to a new club who offered the AMF position only and yet I'm still being played SMF and there isn't even a AMF position in the formation!

^You have to get offers from teams that play with 3 attackers to be able to play as WF. But this'll only happen if that team make an offer for you to play in the forward lines.

To gain extra positions you need to be played in that position for about 5 games i think, but it wont be your strongest position. Try transferring to a team which doesnt have your main position as a position in your team (Eg if you are a SMF, find a team which has no SMF postions and transfer there). I find when you get offers have a quick look in edit mode to check their formations. I have SS and CF and have been played as a WF 3 times... hoping to get that soon too!

Still beats me how a team offered me the AMF position only when they dont play that position in the lineup =\ Oh well, hope mid-season transfer window brings better offers.

^That position mix didn't happen to me. Anyway, was AMF the only position offered by that team?

Yeah lol. They also gave me some random number instead of the one I asked for, but I think that's cause someone already has it in the team.

^Yeah, if someone is already wearing that number then you will get a random number. Check their formation first, and see what numbers are available.
