doubt it, what would be the point? i would like them to put all their efforts into pro evo 7 rather than making a pes6 ps3 version. pes6 ps2 version will get me bye till then. besides if they were working on one, it wouldve been announced by now.
it will, trust me. phil harrison (the bald guy that is in charge) said that it will launch before the end of the financial year, which ends the 3rd week of march, so expect it in the first 2 weeks of march. my bet is on 3/3/ cos then they could make posters saying something similar to "PLAYSTATION 3/3/07"

does anybody know anything about how to connect online with the PS3? like with XBOX 360 you get Xbox Live. But with the PS3 do you get a cable to connect you included in the box and is there something similar to Xbox Live?

there are internet cables in the box (both 20gb and 60gb) but 60gb is also wireless so if you have a wireless router you dont need any cables. the ps3 eqivalent of xbox live is called playstation network (PSN) and its free. its got near enough everything xbox live has, but at the moment you cant talk to people while playing a game, but they are updating this so you can in time for the march release.

Konami are believed to be realeasing winning eleven 11 in April time, in japan, for the ps3, and since they are regioon free you can import it and play it straight away. So not quie a launch title but a month or so after. So i've heard anyway, mainly when they dismissed the claims made at X06 about PES being exclusive to xbox 360

I reckon theyll release Winning Eleven for the 360 aswell, and I didnt think it was gonna be called Winning Eleven this time round, I thought it was like Pro Soccer:Winning Eleven 2007 or some guff like that..who knows.

That feature wasn't designed to replace your PC. :no: It's just an extra that you could use from time to time to find information quickly like weather forecasts and TV listings for example. And of course, the Playstation store.
In regards to the next Winning Eleven, I reckon it'll be called Winning Eleven 2007.

Last two years me and my mates did not play anything else so we are waiting for any info about release coz without PES is PS3 useless./ I mean for us, coz we play 4 together and there is just nba OR nhl that could be played with 4 people. Or tennis, but if we are just three it is stupid to play with computer on one side.

Read a statement from sony saying it will be released in march with 60gb only available for sale for a price of £425.the 20gb package maybe released at a later date if there is a demand.sounds good eh fellas.

:mellow: Hell yes dude. Ofcourse they do, both DVD and Blu-Ray movies. Even ranging from CD, VCD's. It's got it all.
£425 for the 60gb is either a bit too steep or a bargain. Can't say for sure, if you really into the BR technology and it's other features (Wi-Fi, browsing the web, online gaming etc.) then it's a bargain.
However if you after games only, I suggest you wait for the price to drop, by that time, all the good games should come blazing in.

The PS3 is very mediocre so far to be honest. I just go back to my 360. I got, NHL 2K7, Tony Hawks Project 8 and Resistance. The overheats and occasional crashes are frustrating. The launch games are nothing at all special, but i'm sure they'll get better over the course of the year. Overall very empty, due to all the promises Sony made but havent really delivered on.
