The Player Form Arrows Explained! Finally!

Yes, credit to cjshp for posting it. However, it would be nice to know the source (which he has forgot). I don't think the information isn't correct, but on the other hand... it's a "rumour on the internet". For example, how can we be sure this relates to PES3 (WE7) and not PES1, PES2 or another game? Why aren't all the stats listed, and so on...

if the red arrow/+12 thing is true, its flawed, because Thierry Henry is basically all 99s on my PES3 so when he is on red 'form' then it wont really effect him
But if a player with mostly 88-90 ratings is on red 'form' then he would perform the same as henry, not thought out too well konami
Most of the game's not thought out too well.

You can't be sure 99 is maximum. Maybe his stats go above 99 when he's on red.

OK. Let's move on to the experimental facts...

I created players with 89 in all stats and some with 99 in all stats and put two of them on the training pitch and let them pass the ball to each other while I monitored their fatigue levels. They got tired at different rates depending on their form arrows.

89(red) vs. 89(green): As expected, 89(green) got exhausted first.

99(green) vs. 99(grey): Here 99(grey) got more exhausted. No surprise, since his stats are actually lower than 99 when his form arrow is grey.

99(green) vs. 99(red): This is the interesting one, and the players got exhausted at the same rate! So the 99(red) guy didn't have more stamina than the 99(green) fella.

I repeated all of the above and got the same results.

The conclusion must be that *99 is the maximum possible stat*, also after correcting for the players' form arrow. I've put this info on my site as well.

Useless fact of the day: the fatigue bar in PES3 has 8 levels!

but surley zyg is right?

red arrow indicates 100% fit, so surley anything less than 100% fit would be bad!

which is why green is bad.

I thought the arrows indicates the form of the player is in.

During the game or before, you can see the fatigue level of each player by means the green bar. But i notice that sometimes there is a small grey bar below the green bar. Some players has it, some don't.

CAn someone explain to me what this means?

The Green bar is for fitness/stamina.

The gray/brown/red (different people see a different colour) bar below that is the Fatigue bar. The higher the fatigue level, the more likely it is that a player can get injured with a bad foul.

The small grey bar below the green stamina bar is the player's fatigue level before kick-off. The value of the grey bar gets subtracted from the green bar before kick-off, so you want to rest players with a somewhat full grey bar.

The green bar changes during games, the grey bar doesn't.

Thanks.

So if offence is 99, then red arrow makes it 99+12==111 ?!

KingSly of evo-web said:
It's not stat-points. It is %.

So 99 + 12% (11.88) = 110.88!

If it's 80 then 80 + 12% (9,6) = 89,6
Not 80 +12 = 92.

If you got two Players with nearly equal stats then you have to prefer the one with better condition...

phelan, whaddaya reckon?

zyg, where are rd and ks's quotes from? I couldn't find them with the search function.

It should however be possible to check whether the numbers are percentages or not.

I´m quite sure they are from the WE, not from the PES section :p
You don´t have to search with the search option phelan, the thread is on the first page

L2 + buttons is for strategies which you can preset in the formation menu, under Strategies.

Example, Counter Attack can be activated when you press L2 + the chosen button. These can be set to manual or automatic settings.
