The purpose of this thread is to create a list of regens who are worth waiting for. Regens are players that retired and then come back in the following season with 16 or 17 years of age. Some of them are true hidden gems, with stats that should only be possible for players older than 26. To find them in your game just Advance Search with an Age max of 17, if you are starting the second season. This is when the first regens appear. On the start of the third season more regens will appear, and the first ones will be 18 years old; and so on. Simple.

Excellent positioning, gives a lot of presence to the defence with his 188 cm, even more if you play with a 3 man backline. Powerful shot, excellent for long range efforts and freekicks. Fast, powerful dribble that takes a while to get used to. Great with both feet (WFA 4 and WFA 4). Not really many faults, perhaps the standard hair colour (black, really??).

Fast dribble, quick to react and very good on 1-vs-1, both attacking and defending. Altough his Jump is mediocre he's quite good with his head. Decent passing and ball control. Loves to get forward. Great stamina.

Brief Description: I had no idea who he was before going to Southampton. And I had no idea he was so tall before coming back as regen. Another monster, a goal machine of the best kind. Very fast for his size, even with the ball. Great technique helps protecting the ball, which he does with ease. Strong shot, not very precise from outside the box; inside he converts around 90/95% of the chances. Header is way worse than expected, or maybe I don't get it well with him. Due to the playing style he doesn't get very tired, even with just 68 in Stamina. Great to be used as a holding CF, gets a lot of assists. Or just run with him.

Already flourished once.

I don't quite get your doubt.

These are normal players, that got too old and retired. In order to keep the game with a big number of players they will come back as youngsters, many of them with very good atributes. Either they appear in the Youth Team, in the team they retired (for example, if Lahm retired he could appear back in the Bayern squad) or as Free Agents. To find them all just Advance Search with Age limited between to 17 max, as they come with either 16 or 17 years of age.

Have patience, keep your calm when they start fucking things up (they will), train them for Passing or Shooting or whatever you like, and enjoy. Well, desperately try to enjoy. This is a long term buy, for at least 5 years. If you want quick results the only reason to buy any of them is because you are broke.

Will the regens always have the same attributes when they appear? So if I get Wright Phillips, will he be the same rating as yours, or are the attributes a bit more random?

I suppose the regen stats will be based on the stats they had when the players retired. If that's the case, they will vary a bit, but never that much.

If the players are supposed to get always the same stats, just because it is scripted that "Player A, when a regen, will be like this", which is perfectly possible even if it is stupid, then they will all be the same.

I would say the 1st option is more probable

Hurts me not to use him more.

Brief Description: Oh boy! This fella is one of the best GK in the game by the age of 16, when he gets back from the ashes. Two years later he already is the main keeper at Everton. His consistency is the best in the game. Goalkeeping (reflexes) is world class, Saving (technique of grabbing the ball) is a bit mediocre, but hey, he's 16! Plenty of time to develop. Downsides: the fucking price. He was asking me to pay him a staggering 3.2m€ per year before going to Everton. For a 16-year-old kid. Some may reckon that's a good sign...

After the first season with Inter Milan , I find some good regen player at 16 yo like John Terry , Drogba , Recoba , Trezeguet and Dida :)

- I don't know. I would say they can only appear with 16 years, but I'm 99% sure Riise only came this season, and he is 17. I'll try to be end any doubts when the next season starts.

- I took the screens after a few seasons (currently on my third, but some players are regens from this season, other from the first), but the Age I mentioned in the texts is the one they regenerated with.
