Ometan's a great buy too, Him and Fabregas own the centre of midfield in my game. There's a right winger who's French called Djorkjaeff, after a few seasons I found him. I think it's Jourri Djorkjaeff's replacement after retiremnet, but the guy is so much taller and bigger built. Anyway, my point is that he's amazing after 1 and a half seasons. 99 for power, acceleration and top speed. No-one can win the ball off him.

I think with replacements whilst there's trend that they're good, there's bit of random factor in how the computer generates them.

Another thing, does anyone know what the red line (it a small guage full for some players, empty for others) under the player status arrow on the team / formation selection screen means? Is it a form or developer indicator?

When your players are tired or wotnot, the green bar decreases, fair enough, but after time, the red bar increases, and i think this indicates they are in need of a long rest, as it dissappears when you leave them on the bench for a couple of games. Im not 100%, but this is what I use it to indicate.

Cheers Estill, I think that could Make sense. Rooney's been sluggish recently and his bar was really high. So the green bar is for instant energy, and the red one is a season fatigue monitor.

I guess if players are younger the red bar goes up quicker as they get tired quicker.

eh thats really strange but this has happened to me before with Adu with a different age.he started off as 18 i think. but i just started a new ML just to check Cardozos age and he is 20 could anyone help maybe explain the problems i have been having with ages. ??

It's because there are two Cardozo's: the 20 year old one is a CF, and the 17 year old one is a SMF, OM. The midfielder is the one you want to be buying, although the forward one will develop into a good player as well.

...Anyway... Thought It would be a good idea to post my top 5 players I've bought in ML mode, so here goes...

Tevez (FW) - Bags of goals, top scorer in every season played, as well as top assister too. Becomes very good and quick dribbler, faster than his stats would suggest. Also has 6 special abilities.

Fae - (DMF) - Starts off pretty well and just gets better, his defensive abilities shoot up, good passer, scored one of the best goals yet for me, against Buffon too!

Cavenaghi (FW) - Good in the air, clever on the ground, shooting stats go through the roof, doesn't miss many chances.

K. Schmeichel (GK) - Not too brilliant to start with, although that would be down to the fact he is a 17 yr old goalkeeper, but his stats get increasingly better, not yet fulfilled his true potential but looks well on his way to being as good as his dad

Kaebi (SB, right)- Little known Iranian, just looking at his starting stats you realise what a player this guy will be. Defensively he is a lot better than his stats suggest

If you can only find one Cardozo, search for Cardarson, or failing that just look for 17 year old Argentinians (there aren't that many) and he should be one of them.

Rachmane Barry is amazing, after 3 seasons every stat, except defence, is at least 80

Giusseppe Rossi is also amazing, developing into a great player at the start of my second season, and Lewis, the keeper is getting brilliant aswell.
Song Bilong is alright, he has some good stats, but he's not world class.
