I agree that PES 2008 is in general a let down, but being there so many subtle, really interesting things about FIFA 08 that you could point at as potential "pes-killers", I find it incredibly stupid that someone would choose the Arena as the first and foremost.

i must admit, pro evolution is more of a ordinary/begginer game;
Fifa 08 is more up for the challenge, You can't do these tricks in pro evo, so yeh, fifa 08 won this year

:laugh: I mean yeah, fair enough, PES has been a bit of a letdown but comments like that are just rediculous. Oh and don't get me started on the choice of music! Zeppelin should never be used anywhere near FIFA.

Fifa has the licenses to all the EPL teams.

It'd cost more than any of us know for Konami to buy rights to them. Which is why we currently have 2 PL teams licensed each year, rather than all 20.

That 'Be A Pro' feature in FIFA, while it felt a little under developed, is still a tremendous feature, that I hope PES looks at.

PES has a dearth of extra gameplay modes, we can only hope that we see some indoor gaming, or indeed a 'PES Be a Pro' mode to change things up a bit in 09.

Bring it on, I say, I can't wait. It is a great time to be a gamer right now.
