I have both consoles and prefer the xbox now that PES is available on it. Apart from better controllers i don't see many things the ps2 has in favour of the xbox.

mendoza, sorry to say but you're chatting bollocks. Better graphics, better anti aliasing, better sound quality I have noticed too, try hooking it up to a hi-fi or separates system is kills what the ps2 can do. Can rip audio tracks from CDs onto the hard disc, which like in burnout 3 can make custom soundtracks. faster cpu/mem, no slowdown, hanging, freezing in graphically rich games. Better online setup too. For all those who place the ps2 higher up than the x-box has clearly never played on an x-box or are so blinded by a Sony cloud that they just cant see the x-boxes supiority. And before anyone suggests, I am no x-box fanboy, nor of any other console. I have just had my x-box for 2 weeks and starting to really see how bad the PS2 really is.

But sorry to say, the ps2 is underpowered, overhyped, and not in the league of the x-box. Fair enough there are games that are better on ps2, but its down to bad programming, but I cannot see the ps2 as the better console.

jonneymendoza seems to have been banished from ''The Democratic Republic Of Idiots''. And has arrived here to entertain us with his ridiculous logic. Xbox is PS2's big brother. I already have PES4 for PS2, and will be doing the same once I get my Xbox for Chrimbo. While I get a great hammering from Zygalski, you'll be hammering your head against the wall due to being slaughtered on 1* CPU.

Xbox is a better console mate LOL. Real PES fans will jump any ship to play it online LOL. Their are no games on the PS2 that I can think off, which are not on the Xbox LOL. I don't buy an Xbox to play DVD's, I've already got a DVD Player to do that LOL. Your trying to gain the upper hand by exaggerating the different released dates on the PS2 and Xbox LOL. I'll be playing PES4 Online, anytime I want LOL. While you'll be playing the CPU LOL. Xbox will automatically update PES4 games through their servers LOL. But then the Xbox has its own exclusives that ps2 owners would love to get their hands on, Halo 2 for example. I doubt many people would really use the xbox for watching dvds anyway, and if they desperately want to then buying a remote control is not such a hardship. Your entitled to your opinion over the xbox but you can see from people's response that they don't think it's crap and they all seem to own both an xbox and ps2. I have both and own around 40 games on xbox and 100 on ps2 and think the xbox is the superior console.
In any case what does it matter if people are buying an xbox just to play PES4 on xbox live, it'll probably be worth it anyway
