well project gotham 3 is looking every inch the next gen title, the videos have blew me away. and the live modes are truly amazing.
to be honest nothing else right now has totally stunned me, gears of war looks good, ninety nine nights just looks like a spruced up kingdom under fire,maybe a good thing (same developers too) , perfect dark zero look great and will be great.
im more looking forward to the second generation of 360 games, halo3 etc, when developers are actually using some of the kits power (only 20% is being used at present) and the true innovation for the next gen will be live and especially massively multiplayer games not just the same old fps's with fancy graphics, we need some god damn innovation, no more gta clones or "modding" car games.
we all know this will never change and i predict the rubbish franchises like need for speed, fifa etc will continue to be realeased and the graetfranchises like resi, gta also will get updates, most casual players wont complain about this and they will go out and buy the same old recycled crap year after year. but then again the i think the people who will buy the 360 are the smarter gamer and see beyond the crap drivel like need for speed and are more interested in live community (microsoft also stating this), media device link up, and not to mention some stunning games from game studios who actually care (bungie anyone).
anyway i felt like a little rant there after talking to some twat who worked in a game shop he tried to explain to me that the ps3 was 20 times more powerful than the 360, i proceeded to put him in his place and explain how the core processers work, and he was shocked, just think these are the people who work in games in games shops.
its no wonder need for speed sells so well..........
