[TUTORIAL] Transferring an Option File by USB! [takes about 25 minutes]

has any1 else has problems when they click open device? do i need to change any settings on my laptop to be able to do this? i am using windows vista.

I can't find the programme Slashr's Usb thing, where is the link so I can download it and how do I download it?

5] Open up USB Xplorer, you should get the below screen:
6]Press file and Open Device, you should get something come up in the white box that says "0. {dir}content". Double click this and then you should see a folder called something like {dir}E00007FB5AB1185FF. yours wont be exactly the same but it will be similar.
Has the USB Xplorer been updated since this post, because the one that I have has additional radio buttons on it below the three that are displayed in the tutorial pic.
- New Folder
- Inject Folder
- Rename
Furthermore, when I Press File and Open Device, absolutely nothing happens. The empty window remain so. So i'm not getting off to a good start here. LOL
THIS IS THE EASY WAY TO DO IT!!
Format your flash drive to Xbox360
Load PES2010 and use the newly formatted drive for saving, from dashboard delete any PES2010 Edit files you may have made, or UNIFORM files, If you want to save them then you should use another flash drive.
Remove flash drive and put it into your computer
Load Xtaf Explorer (DL here) http://www.sendspace.com/file/wo1fhw
Download an Option file for eg. John's option file on this site.
The key to quickly doing these option files is, when you open Johns option file youll see that a folder comes up named "00000001" THIS IS GOOD! Any option file in the future you download, should be put into a folder ALWAYS named "00000001". So if you see just a bunch of "PES2010_UNIFORM.Bin" files when you DL an option file, now you know that you must create a new folder and name it "00000001" Okay.
in Xtaf you click on "File" then "Open device"
You should see 0.{dir}Content double click, then double click again (on E0005D######) then double click again
(4B4E###) then you should see 0.{dir}00000001 (remember thats what we named our folder)
All you have to do now is, click ONCE on 0.{dir}00000001and DELETE this folder, then hit the button "Inject Folder" then find you downloaded OF and the folder 00000001. Click , and youll see it "injecting" You should then see the exact same think you saw before ( 0.{dir}00000001) This should be done in seconds not 25 minutes!
Thats about it, go back to your xbox dash board and go to "Memory" then transfer the files from your flash drive to your Hard drive. Boot up Pes2010 and use the HDD as your save and boom! there's the option file.
Done!

I tried this and it didn't work for me. Just a quick question, what kind of flash drives are you guys using for this method? My flashdrive wouldn't work on xbox so i tried this using my 500gig external which i formatted to 16 gig when i set it up using the xbox.

I've tried different things for the last two hours, deleting all PES files, overwriting them, copying the files with or without Konami updates but its still the same problem.

Ok over the weekend I bought a new 4gig flashdrive. This time I can't even format it on xbox because it keeps saying it fails the test! I have formatted it to Fat 32 so I don't know whats wrong this time :no:

What I am going to do is edit these myself so all names correct et...

When I open the device with Slasher the files look different to the ones on page one. None of them say bin, their all called "Data0001" and names similiar to that. And when I do casperlds method it just seems to delete the data from my usb cos when i plug my usb back into xbox there's nothing on it. I don't think its injected properly, it won't inject all the bin files, just the Data0001 type ones. If someone who wanted to help could PM me that would be great.
EDIT: Man I feel stupid. I don't know what I did the first half dozen times I tried it but I deleted all the files and tried again this time I could tell immediately it was going to work! Yay for me lol. Cheers everyone for trying to help me lol
