Re-brought PES 2012 after I found out they fixed the sprinting bug, and started a ML as Liverpool. Brought Di Maria from Real Madrid for £27m. Currently 1st in the league after 4 games, and my next game is my first UEFA Europa League game against FC Twente and the FA Cup is yet to begin. So far so good

You're sure enjoying it. I'm not because I'm in 17th position in D2 on professional. My 2nd season in there but it is stupid for the default team to make it into the premier league after 1 season

Apologies if this has already been discussed or in the wrong thread, but do you know how to improve player's 'resistance'? All bar one of mine are on Level E for this. Even Shimitzu who is level B for everything else. I don't get it.

Really loving PES Football Life, and dear I say it, it's for me better than FIFA's Career Mode! Into the second round of the FA Cup, currently top of my UEFA Europa League group and top of the Premier League Installed Arsenald's OF onto my xbox 360 and now PES is even better with the proper team names and kits

I think you can try to train on "strategy". Although it doesn't make sense, somehow teamwork is group under the "resistance" group which makes this rating low if your players have low teamwork. You can double check if your players have very low teamwork (sub-20s) I have the same problem before.

Teamwork is in fortitude, not resistance.
In resistance it is balance, stamina, kicking power and Jump so basically it's how athletic and fit you are

My only signing for Liverpool (2nd season) has been Shimizu, he completely did Ashley Cole, won 3-0 against them.

Considering getting rid of Suso and Coady as they don't get any games and promoting Danny Murphy, Litmanen, Guti (!) or Heskey (!!!) from my youth team.

I have agreed a £4,000,000 fee for Jonjo Shelvey from a team in the Ligue 1 so he'll be on his way out soon. I have £33,000,000 to spend in the January market and don't really know who to buy. I think I might not buy anyone as my team is in good shape.

Currently at the bottom of division 2 with half of the season left (my first year) Obviously playing with the ML players. My top scorer is Larsen Toure who I signed from Brest. I also picked up a youth player Martin from Montpellier. Looks like its gonna be a while before I get to the top league.

Martin is quick and skillful eventhough he has a low overall rating. I just love his agility and quick feet and got him for cheap although to me he is the next ribery. He's my best playmaker byfar and like you I started with the default players. Him and Shimizu are dangerous when put in the wing eventhough they lack strength

Romped to victory against FC Twente to confirm that I will qualify out of Group F in the UEFA Europa League as group winners, and I also narrowly beat Chelsea 2-1 at Anfield to open up a 10 point gap at the top of the table after 16 games.

One question I do have though, is how do I get the stadium presentation cutscene for new signings? Do they have to be particularly well known players? Because when I signed Di Maria, I only got the usual press conference style cutscene for him.....

cool good to hear he progress well and thats exactly what I'm doing with Shimizu, I was surprised to see how Martin had some decent skill cards at his age and the only reason he's on my team is because everyone else I went after said no lol

Seems I prompted this to happen: Gerrard out for 12 weeks. Henderson has already taken his place by scoring a cracker in a 1-0 win over West Ham.

Then poor results:
Bolton 4-3 Liverpool (twice fell behind in first half with Maxi and Kuyt pulling it back, led 3-2 with 10 mins left. AI suddenly became too powerful down the wings Straight after internationals so only Suarez first choice, even replaced Reina with Hansen)

Liverpool 0-1 Newcastle (missed an open goal with Maxi as I didn't expect to get the ball and hit the bar with Carroll :no:. Newcastle were playing pacy football with Ba, Ameobi, Tiote and especially Ben Arfa who kept skinning Kelly for my marking. Ameobi scored)

Chelsea at home next, I hate playing against Mata and Drogba.

My main threat with Chelsea is frickin Kalou. He keeps on doing stepovers and sidesteps and fools my defenders when Im jockeying. You'd be lucky if Kalou was not playing as he just plays with my defence
