Yippie.. Torres finally makes his mark. Scored 5 goals in 3 games. But somehow looks out of sorts if playedl along with Adabayour. One crazy thing I noticed today is when I trained "Physical: for 3 continuous weeks, and moved to speed, all my teammates "team work" stats went below 20. WTF !! Held on to a draw with bottom team Swansea City coz of their lack of understanding in their match, which literally means I dropped 2 very crucial points there !!! More worries awaiting as I am having away ties with Liverpool and Man U and an international game in between and I have 14 players in my team going on national duty.. :( :( :(

Not sure if I should start again as I've started over 5 times and it'll just take too long with all the cutscenes and matches. I'll just play with those crappy players and I'll play each game and I won't care about the result as I just need merchandise fees and so far I dont even have sponsors! I'll just hope that I avoid the sacking and a wonderkid like my ex-player Shimizu turns up in my youth team

feel u @ abu, i have restarted bout 7 times, got fired about 6 times and got frustrated with my team 1nce wen i couldnt make it into the top flight after missing out on goal diff 2wice...
but right now, my team doin quite well, won 9 games in the 1st hhalf of my 1st season div 2

tried signing that roux guy, he must not like the spanish league, cause he aint even givin my team a thought...

also any1 notice some men in suits running around during matches?

My masters league 1st season came to an end finally. Ended up with fourth spot. Standings looks like this:
1. Arsenal 82
2. Man City 78
3. Man United 78
4. Tottenham 68
5. Liverpool 66
6. Chelsea 66
7. Fulham 76
8. Everton 59

VanderVaat and Bale earned a spot each in Best Eleven of the season and VanderVaat becoming the Assist leader. A really hard fought season and finally I earned a playoff spot for Champions league. Chairman expressed his high expectations already for the cup..

Highlights of the season being redhot form of Adabayor and Defoe being a very good back up striker. Landed Torres to accompany Adabayor to play 2 strikers upfront but the combination didn't work that well till the end of the season. Pavlachenko being an utter disappointment being a well paid player in the team. No one interested in buying him as well. Finally managed to send him on loan after the season. My biggest challenges came in the matches after internationals when around 14 players went and came back from their international duties. Every one were tired and lacked that solidity in those matches.

New season with new goals and expectations. Sold Ekotto and brought Kolarov. Sent few fellows on loan. Brought Palmeri from youth squad to as cover for my aging CBs. Got two new sponsors with difficult bonus conditions, one wanting Vandervaat to be player of FA cup and the other wanting Bale to feature in atleast 30 matches this season. Several Big clubs came to me asking for Vandervaat for around 48 million dollars which I simply rejected and Vandervaat came and asked me for an explanation. I said I needed him in the club and he seems happy with that. Barca had an eye on Bale for some time now. My play off to earn a spot in Champions league is with Porto, which made me a bit worried already.

Second season, here I come. Inbetween PES rocks..

Try to sign Roux. He's 22 or 23 when you start a new league. French striker from brestois or what they're called. He was very easy to sign, and i think he appears on the list of targets almost everytime. He certainly did the job for me in division 2.

Cheers for the tip - picked him up for the 2nd half of the season started by scoring 2 on debut in cup, then just keep scoring. Currently has 10 goals for 15 games (been on a bit of a drought - on goals in 5!). Currently my mighty Birmingham City sit proudly atop of the premier league and are in FA Cup final. Domestic double is on!

Seriously? This is ridicuolus. I don't know if i can laugh at PES anymore now :) Why oh why would any game developer with the slightest self respect make it like this. Pathetic.

Now into 4th season and my stupid Leeds team is still in the NPower Championship.

Saying that, have had my best start to a season so far and had a bit of a squad overhaul.

Got rid of McCormack, Howson and Clayton. Released Vilchez who had come through youth set-up but not done much. My squad is now as follows...

GK's - Forde, Lonergan, R.Elliott (on-loan from Newcastle)
DF's - Connolly, Craig, D.Balde, Bernardo, Lees, O'Dea, Parker, Hoiland
MF's - Shimizu, Feeney, Camacho, Jaime, Nunez, Snodgrass, McClean
FW's - Obayomi, Somma, J.Ayite, Tyson,

Last game last night was an epic 4-4 against Palace. At one point I was 2-4 down, they had a penalty to make it 2-5, missed it - then I stormed back with 2 late goals. Nearly won it at the end, McClean rifling just over.

Props!

This is how the game is supposed to be played. With "crappy" team and very high difficulty. Getting promotion to Premier league must be an achievement when you get it :)

No it's not. The game should be played in any way you find enjoyable, if like the last game on match of the day style, then good for you. If you put it on 5 minutes, regular or below, because the 2nd division bores the shit out of you, then that's fine too.

I do the latter, but the scripting and the difficulty in signing players (but mostly the scripting) has recently made me look at my old pes 2011 and think "Maybe....., I know there was scripting on that too, but not like this years"

Anyway, trying to get through it, I always play with a fictional team. This time round, it's St. Domingo's. Something else infuriating about this years, if any team higher ranked than you - even a struggling french team comes in for your good players, the want to leave, and say they have handed in a transfare request. Naymar is now on a permanent down arrow, has one bar of loyalty left, and is in his last year of contract. If he signs a new one, I will eat my own balls.

Same, after 3 seasons of nightmares, my team is still in D2 with £0 and team stats of 50 everything. However I'm in pole position to get promotion to the premier league as I'm 2nd with 8 matches left! Can't keep my hopes up though.

Also, does anyone know how much money you win if you are 2nd in D2 and promoted to the english league regardless of sponsors? I'm curious as I have no money and every year I have to release my best players just because they are on a wage of over £100,000 every year and instead recruit some players with ratings of under 50.

Haven't really played this game too much since college exams started taking preference, so I haven't really got too much to report. Played my final Europa League group game and got a 2-2 draw at Victoria and qualifying top of the group, after having my LB Robinson sent off in the 3rd minute. Still firing on all cylinders in the Premier League however, as I am still top of the table after 17-or-so games in, 10 points clear. Haven't played an FA Cup game since I last posted so i'm still in the quarter-finals.

Just got promoted to the Premier League. Woot woot. Now after playing my first match and buying Chigrat, I lost to Man City 10-1 eventhough I owned them in terms of possession. Now at the bottom of the league, I got Arsenal next and I just got that feeling I'll stay in the relegation zone for quite a time

5th season now with Leeds, still no promotion.

Team has had a mini over-haul in summer...

Nunez didn't want a new contract so left on a free
Shimizu got a steaming red face after I rejected bids for him. Sold him for £3million eventually as his stats are decreasing
Connolly given free transfer
Tyson given free transfer

In-coming, I signed Gary Gardner on a free, Joao Paulo for £80,000 from some Portugese team, G.Hairemans from some club and Christie on a free from Coventry.

Started season losing to West Ham, 3-1, away. After that though have found a smidgen of form. I am lying about 7th, 4 points off that 3rd spot.

QPR are walking the league, though when they came to my place they had played 8 won 8. A last minute McClean rocket saw me win 3-2. Big win.

Had two 3-3 draws so far this season, away to Forest, Joao Paulo smashing 2 in then away to Wigan. Wigan went 3-0 up after 22 minutes, I was fuming. They have Danny Rose and he was playing like Messi. However, I went route-one and started to stick the boot in. Equalized in the last 5 minutes, then Bernardo had a great chance to win it at the end. Had about 8 players booked but stopped them playing.

If I don't go up this season, I might start again. Just seem to drop off in second half of season. Noticing some youngsters coming through around the world now. Levante have a 17 year-old, Farinos, rated 94. Chelsea have re-gen David James but he won't come to me on-loan.

On the back of my last post, I went through my team stats since I've been playing. Below is all the players who have played for me in the last 4 seasons (not including the 5th which I've just started) and their appearances and goals.

Players in bold still at the club, goals in brackets...

McCormack - 69 (17)
Kisnorbo - 6
Connolly - 39
Howson - 30 (1)
Snodgrass - 92 (15)
Nunez - 87 (8)
Parker - 65
Clayton - 10
Somma - 110 (34)
Forrsell - 22 (2)
O'Dea - 51
Lees - 129 (4)
Lonergan - 27

O'Brien - 33
Vayrynen - 10
Forde - 95
Craig - 105

Shimizu - 123 (9)
Camacho - 76 (3)
Feeney - 74 (8)

Tyson - 35 (3)
Bernardo - 71 (3)
Obayomi - 75 (24)
Balde - 34 (2)

Vilchez - 1
Jenkins - 23
Ayite - 25 (8)
McClean - 15
Jaime - 12
Hoiland - 8

New signings have not been included.

It's plain to see why I am still rattling around in the Championship - my strikers are not scoring enough. Somma averaging a goal just over every 2 games, same as Obayomi. However, neither have scored more than 11 in a single season. I believe if I can get one of my forwards to stay fit, happy and on-form then I will go up because my Midfield creates enough chances.

Most apps for club is Tom Lees. I was going to ship him out in season 1 but he's now my captain and even though only rated 61, he is immense at the back. I'm suprised at Parker playing that many times, though O'Dea is on a constant downer, so either Parker or Craig (who can play left or right) get the nod at left-back.

As you can see, Shimizu was a huge loss after playing over 100 games. He'd fly down the right wing and I'd sometimes start him behind the front two, though he'd often get muscled out by opposition hatchet men. I'm going to keep an eye on how he goes at his new club and might try to bring him 'home' one day (hopefully when I finally get this lot into Europe).

So, with season 5 underway, my first choice 11 is as follows...

GK: Forde
DR: Christie
DL: Craig
DC: Lees (CPT)
DC: Bernardo
MR: Snodgrass
ML: Hairemans
MC: Camacho
MC: Feeney
FW: Obayomi
FW: Joao Paulo

Obayomi has currently scored 4 this season while Joao Paulo has 5. The key is keeping Camacho happy because he gels this side together. He reminds me of Xavi, he's got good control and some of his touches and passes are top draw. Last 2 seasons he's only played 30 games due to being constantly un-happy but this season he's back in the team and looking like the Rolls-Royce of a player he could be.

Youth team wise, having some interesting players pop up but most of them are woeful. Last graduate was Hoiland who is due to go out on-loan to get some experience. I have a re-gen Garry Monk who the coach said 'reminds him of Cardoba'. However, for a central defender, he's tiny (about 1.83). I like both my central defenders to be at least 1.88 tall. I might give him a look but Balde is pushing Bernardo to partner Lees, so would be fruitless promoting him. A few of my ex-youth 'stars' are plying their trade elsewhere. Palmieri is at a Spanish club (Grenada it might be), Schwarz is at Chelsea (along with Reeves who I'm not sure if he's in the youth set-up at the start) and Jacobs is at Arsenal. None of them are featuring though and all have not renewed contracts.

Right, gotta go, Portsmouth at home awaits!

WEST HAM UNITED
Started with West Ham, Superstar quality, 10 minute games.

I made no transfers during the summer transfer-window. I played pretty well until January, then my top scorer Carew got injured so I had to bring in a striker. It was hard to pick but I decided to go with Jay Rodriguez from Burnley.

We played a bit worse during the spring and we ended at 6th place so unfortunately we missed promotion to Premier League.

A very disappointing thing was that both Kevin Nolan And Jack Collison refused to sign new contracts and went to other clubs instead. Another very good player left the club, John Carew went to Sevilla for almost £3 millon.I have now signed Nenad Milijas(free transfer), Younes Belhanda(free transfer) and John Pantsil(free transfer).
I hope we get promoted this year!

I use the ML Editor to edit 'reborn' players. It can be a bit tiring, but I kind enjoy doing it season after season.

My method is to keep their positions, but change the stats and their height/weight, and give them a different but kinda similar names (since the callnames remain). For instance, retired Helton is now reborned Nelton, with less height and weight, and some different attributes (less agile, a bit stronger, etc...)

Another example is retired Capdevilla and reborn Davilla. Shorter, less skilled and attacking minded, but faster and very agile.
