This was taken from the archives of a PES court case. The case involved trolls and fanboys who said that 'PES was boring' and that goal variation was rubbish and limited. PES fought back! So just to highlight, from my point of view I have shown with video evidence earlier in the week why I think PES is a brilliant game gameplay wise and realistic in terms of player positioning and movement, I have shown that there is more than the counter attack method to score, I have shown goal variation of the highest kind, and I have shown some excellent CPU build up play and human build up play. The only thing I would take on board from the comments this week is that gameplay has been a little too fast, which I have toned down accordingly this week. I now have the perfect game.

I'm 6th in the league halfway through the season, I am knocked out of the Europa league on goal difference (with 11 points!, yeah I know crazy it was), but I feel I'm making real inroads of late and I'm getting to know me team better. My only severe beating was the Chelsea game. I really do feel that by the end of this first season, with a couple of new signings, I can mount a serious challenge next year. I also think that with these new settled settings I can concentrate purely on playing, and less time on messing about. I will be contributing but only in passing now, my missus has given me the ultimatum after seemingly spending ALL week on these forums; spend time with me or face the consequences; which I'm not quite sure is good or bad?!?

The bad certainly outweighs the good.
Online and multi-player is shite.
Playing against the A.I is boring and repetitive.Every team passes there way out of trouble with godly technique.
I started a ml recently played about 5 games and putting aside how awful the ml is now with all the shite that they've tacked onto it , the game is just unbearable because of a.i cheating!
The way they attack you is embarrassing.Players like fucking Lampard and even lesser players just carrying the ball up the park with totally unrealistic ability and movement.Everything seems like a last ditch tackle because defenders are so floaty and hopeless.



You try to pressure the A.I with an off the ball player and the attacking A.I just turn on beast mode not respecting there ability/stats in game and turn in to world class players with world class vision and world class ball control and movement. The pressure button is pretty useless majority of the time.
I've tried the game play patch which removed scripting ,but still feel a lot of times when the A.I are in my final third i'm stuck in a transition which no matter how well i defend the A.I will skip past you or get a chance on goal.
I know most properly you will now reply that i'm a fifa fag or something else along those lines or that i'm not good at the game , be my guest.


No doubt the game has positives but like i said the bad well outweighs the good.

After watching those vids, they actually make PES look grea and brilliant but that's because of the patch. FIFA beats PES without the patch and on patch 1.02, the display stats are unreal, everyteam make interceptions like barca, no teams play to their real abilities or sliders so no tactics are used, every team defend the same so it is just boring every time. Can you please tell me Techboy if there is a patch that will work on PS3?

Also, someone else called Techboy Amateur a week ago

I am just techboy, sometimes techboy11 or techboy12 or ccshopland, but never these other characters!?!

The only 'patch' on the PS3 is a guy called Chimps who edits the game stats to even out the game, but I don't think it makes any core engine changes. He spends hours editing it fair play.

Then I learned how to defend and how to disarm the AI in PES 2012. :rolleyes::cool:

I hav to disagree wiv mak, i think the good far outweighs the bad, for me online anyway, an a bit of advice for techboy, listen to the mrs, i wish i did, pes is awesome but it comes 2nd to crushin pussy which i now miss

Hi Techboy11, if it is not too much to ask, could you tell me which formation and the settings(player support etc.) you used on the spurs keeping it video.

^On PC, you can edit the texture files with Game graphics studio, so you can change the logos. But these kind of patches are usually included with big patches like the fire patch and pesedit patch. :cool:

Has anyone ever scored a scorpion kick on this game. I've even tried positioningg Ibrahimovic in training to try it and all he does is a bicycle kick which goes in the skies.
