I have just downloaded the main option file and saved everything to my ps3, i can get the chants to work, does the option file change the fake team names to real ones and how do i get the files to work.

For face scans I believe I am your man, I have all the download links avaible and Ill show you a few of my scans

I use your file so all the scans are saved as image 65 or something along those lines meaning it won't erase any of your previous scans; here are a few scans I have done, there are more though

Vicgeta, yes it does. Just copy all the files to your ps3, start the game, and fanny's your aunt.

Hi everyone, I've just signed up to try and get some help and info.

I've read loads of other posts having the same problem as me:
"load failed because data is from different version.
Download content and update data"

I've read the solution too, which is to go to system settings and press download. But here's the problem, my Ps3 isn't connected to the internet.

Can somebody help me with a solution, or is this whole option file process useless unless your Ps3 is linked to the internet?

Hope someone has a solution or way around it, I feel like I'm missing out just because I don't have the internet connection

I was wondering if I can download the Konami update on a PC and transfer it to the Ps3 via USB stick?

If not, I think my only other option is link the Ps3 to the internet. I have a 3G dongle which plugs into my laptop. Can anyone run me through how to set that up please? [I have Vista]

ps, It wouldn't be for regular gaming as I've heard online gaming it shit with a Dongle, it would purely be to upload the stuff needed so I can enjoy all the hard work the guy has put into this file for us all :)

Mr flux, i dont know if im being retarded or not but i did that and nothing has happened, it still has the fake names ect. i copied this file http://rapidshare.com/files/27517935..._File_2.04.rar then followed the instructions. i have the latest version of the game, do i have to copy any of the other previous files? do i have to delete pes files that are on my ps3 first? thanks again.

i think you need to download the earlier versions mate as this is just an update, a bit of a fart on but totally worth it. hope this helps.

Hi - not sure whether it works directly with a 3G dongle. I recommend you to try to connect the PS3 directly with an Ethernet cable to your laptop and follow the steps as outlined in the link below. I am not 100% sure it works, but it's worth trying:

I still cant seem to get it to work. which one do you actually download and when you save it to the ps3 how do you import the files or does it do it itself? i have followed the instructions but nothing. It's a bloody mystery that's for sure. thanks in advance.

UPDATE ONLY - These second set of links contain just the latest 'EDIT DATA' file and any new kits/face scans that may have been added to the file. ONLY USE THESE LINKS TO DOWNLOAD IF YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED THE FULL PREVIOUS UPDATE (for example, if you downloaded the full version of 1.05, you can download the update only version of 1.06. If you don't have 1.05, you should download the full 1.06. This applies to all future updates)

- If this is the first time you've used muff's OF, you need to download the first link. The first link is the most upto date OF with every kit/face scan etc. The second link is for people who have been using his 2.03 file and just need the latest updates.

- Next, you will need to download Konami's 1.40 update from within Pro Evo. On the main menu, go to system settings, then go to download, you will then download the latest update for the game. If you don't do this the OF won't work at all and will give you an error message.

If you've done the above, follow the next steps.

You will now need to manually copy across every file of Muff's OF to your PS3 by doing the following. The update will only work (I beleive) if the file names are correct on your USB Flashdrive.

- Open Muff's file with Winrar or whatever you use.
- Extract the file "PS3" to your USB Flashdrive.
- Within the PS3 file should be the "SAVADATA" file.
- IMPORTANT - check that it has copied across correctly. Open your USB Flashdrive, all you should see is the file "PS3". Click into PS3, there should be "SAVADATA", if this is correct then proceed.
- Now put your USB Flashdrive into your PS3.
- Go to "Game" on your PS3
- Press X on Saved Data Utility
- Scroll to the top to "USB Device (USB Flash Drive)"
- Press X

You will now see every file within Muff's OF including Facescans, kit scans and the actual OF itself etc...

- On each and every file you need to press Triangle then press X on "Copy".
- If it asks to overwrite anything, press yes.

Once you've done the above, fire up Pro Evo and the OF should work.

If anyone wants to correct the above, let me know because i've pretty muuch improvised from memory.

Thanks Mr_Flux, i just looked at the case of my game and on the spine it says BLUS30189, where the option files say BLES00338 does that mean its a american copy and if it is the option file wont work will it?

Cheers for the link for some technical help. I have read that some people have got it to work [with a lot of time and effort] and others say it's pointless. But like I said it wouldn't be for regular gaming, just to download the Konami update to use this Option File. Thanks, i'll let everyone know if / how it works, I'm sure i'm not the only one with this problem :)
