I would mind having this done also - i'm curious whether or not if the classic/extra players were put in a team (like the bundeliga players) whether turning off classic players would exclude them from Master League.... If it didn't this would suit everyone, as people who wanted correct teams but not the actual 'classic' could just turn off classic players when they started a ML, but the Bundesliga / other current players assigned to a team would still be available cause they are in their respective teams.
Either way great file!! Put it on last night, high quality, credit to everyone who worked on it!!

also there is a thread on pesfan.com in the editing section that has game saves to unlock each group of classic players, there are only two missing (Serie A & Ligue 1) if anyone has these or know where I can get these two if you could let me knows where to get them or if they could put the file up somewhere it would be much appreciated - and for anyone who wants the rest check here, i think they are all in the thread except for the two i have previously mentioned (for PS3 of course)

Yeah, but most of the 'current' players out of the unlockables (Vagner Love, Rivaldo, Ronaldo etc) don't have a team in the game so they'd be unusable :/
It's daft really. Konami shouldn't include current players with any of the classic ones. The classic teams should be different altogether from the other unlockables

Ive a bit of a problem if anybody could help me...
I copied all of the Option file from my USB onto the PS3, but when i went to load up PES 2009 it said something about being unable to use the edit data as it was from a different database. It told me to download the version then retry it. Buy i havent a clue what to do?

You need to go to Settings and Download in game. After that is complete, then install my option file etc. Instructions are in the first post

i have problems with the of ! i have the konami update 1.20
i load the of 1.04 copied it to flash drive - than to the ps3.
i start the game..but i have "fake" names at bayern and werder.... becouse not the real names...

Super of, played it so much the day i downloaded it my ps3 froze, and i turned it off at the back, and when i turned it back on it said my hard drive was corrupt!! The format worked on the second time of asking......scary stuff there for a bit, i didnt lose any save data and i can go back to playin pro
Never switch ur ps3 off at the back when power is on!!!

To THE MUFF:
Just a few questions.
1) the Von OF 1.4 doesn't include the hidden players, does it?;
2) so werder and Bayern are built with international and CREATED players, aren't they?
3) Your OF based completely on Von file has Werder+Bayern with international players and HIDDEN players, hasn't it?
4) in addition you have unlock all the players, haven't you?

ok, i got the konami update. now i copied the files to my flashdrive. I did exactly as u said, go to save data utility and access my USB and copy the files. Yet, i can see my USB, i cant see any of the folders, when i press Tirangle, it gives me one option only "information". Theres no "display all" or "copy options". Now when I go to Photos or Music I can clearly see all the folders, yet i couldnt copy any of them I was only able to copy the faces of the players through the Photos Folder on PS3 menu.
can any1 help plz?

You need to make sure all the files are in the correct file structure on the USB drive for the PS3 to see them. The structure can be found here:

All the files for the option files should go in SAVEDATA, the chants in MUSIC.
NOTE : USB drive must be FAT32 formatted and all directory names in CAPS.

i wanted to ask you a question.. have you, or are you thinking about correcting some of the players' possitions? i'm portuguese so, concerning FC Porto, Sporting Lisbon and Benfica, i noticed Konami made a few mistakes (for instance, FC Porto's #25 Fernando, is not considered the defensive midfielder that he is). I'm not talking about changing the palyers' atributes, just the positions.
and another thing. Werder Bremen's first kit is way too light. The green needs to be a little "greener"
and i don't know about you, but i don't tend to like the names and numbers on the shirts being in the same colour as their outline. Werder Bremen has that the numbers get way too thick. are you thinking about changing that?
