Having just PEU, PAS and PLA leagues just doesn't look enough anymore.
With very little investment Konami could have largely compensated the lack of licences...
See how in few weeks we got from the community great creations such as Bundesliga, MLS, Liga Mx, Libertadores, J League, Etc.

How?
- For the first time we can finally edit European fake teams that polluted our Champions and Europa leagues past years. Why did Konami decided to remove fake teams such as Nk Ljakovnica, Fk Kyljmeeski. Etc. They were already there, why removing them?
Adding fake teams costs almost nothing...
- With such good leagues not present in PES such as Bundesliga, Russian and Turkish leagues, why not adding at least a second PEU league?
- A second league in Americas would allow us to fit in Liga Mx and MLS at the same time...
- A seconde league in Asia would allow us to fit in J League and CSL at the same time too...
- The lack of an African fake league is also quite frustrating... Pleasure Horn has a free pass into Fifa Club's World Cup. And that's a shame when playing League 1 to not be able to recruit players in Africa.
- And finally a second division for PEU, PLA and PAS league would be a great addition. This way we could have a 2. Bundesliga, a 2nd division Brasileirao and the J League 2.

What are you waiting for Konami?
Isn't that too much to ask :(

I think that it is pretty good as it is now, you are forgetting that this year is the most mod-able version for a long time. Import/Export function makes is possible to install option files without problems, somthing that was impossible before.

Not to mention second division for England, France and Italy. Liga NOS was also a great adition last year. I agree that PEU Division 2 would be epic. No doubt Bundesliga.2 would be a nice touch.

Not to mention full Brazilian, Argentinian, Chile leagues :w00t

But if I had to choose I would prefer more slots for other European Teams over more leagues. Its indeed better this year and we will likely se more teams availible with next Datapack like last year where PES added new EL/CL teams and fixed one additional Italian Serie B team.

I don't play J-League but I did add it, same thing with Chinese league, why would play that? I would rather see that they get real licence for MLS with both Eastern Conference and Western. That way we wont see MLS entering Copa Libertadores in ML.

My Top-Priotities if I was in charge:
PEU League Div 2 - Bundesliga 2
NAL (North America League) - MLS
CAF (African Champions League) - Licenced
More Other Europe Teams

My Second-Priorities:
Fake Russian League (Like ex. Portugal)
More Other America Teams

I think they must add in future editions:

- Another fake European League: To add other leagues like Scotland or Russian League.
- Another/s not licensed league/s like Liga Nos.
- Two fake North/Center American Leagues: To add MLS & Liga MX.
- Another one or two fake South American leagues: To add Colombian, Uruguay, Venezuela or Ecuador leagues.
- Another one or two fake Asian Leagues: To add CSL & K-League.
- A fake North/Center American National Cup: To add the Gold Cup.
- A fake North/Center American Clubs Cup: To add Concacaf Champions League.
- Other fake North/Center American clubs.
- A fake African league: To add Morocco or Egypt leagues.
- In League options add the possibility of one or two league tables + play-offs: To create a realistic MLS competition.
- Can play International Club Championship separately not only in ML/My Club.

Assuming that most of us on here have at least done a fair bit of editing I think it's easy to forget what an off the shelf copy of PES 2017 is like when you first fire it up.

There must be a lot of people out there that do not really touch the editing side of things so perhaps there is a concern that putting in a load of fictional teams & leagues would look bad to the audience that don't do much or any editing. Maybe reviewers that play a base copy might get a bad impression if a tiny percentage of teams and leagues are licensed.

just a thought..

Just for the record I'd rather have more fictional teams and leagues that could be edited.

Personally I would rather nothing was licensed at all, the game only cost £20 and the user was given carte blanche to edit everythin they wanted - importing of faces, boots, balls, stadiums, kits, teams. The trouble is that will never happen because Konami probably wouldn't sell any copies in the future!!! That's why we can't edit licensed teams kits I imagine.

Well if the fear is to look bad it's already late.

Serie A is the only major league that has most of its teams licensed, although the best of them is unlicensed. You play champions league and Europa league with 80% teams unlicensed or fake.
Well at the moment it's not even possible to play European competitions with all teams, even after editing.

We got Afc CL license... But not a single real Asian league to exploit it...

If they would care that much about it, then they could hide it and make it in a way we can only activate them in the editor.

Also the actual problem with others Europe is that there is nothing stopping the possibility having Zénith. CSKA. Rostov and Spartak in the same CL group.

Best thing would be if they add a choice that we can add Country from where the club is based. Code in so that the game does not draw countries from the same country in groups etc.

More fake leagues would be nice. Unlimited slots for import would be better. Ability to import chants would be great. Maybe add call names like United, City, FC.

CAF CL and a PAF League would be nifty. African football is more storied and competitive than the rest of the world realizes, plus an expansion of the game's football world would be welcome.

I don't oppose an extra PEU either, considering the sheer number of leagues Europe has - although Germany is the only major European league Konami doesn't officially cover, the Russian League has also been getting quite popular recently, which should warrant an extra league. That, or Scotland, Belgium, Poland or Turkey.

On that note, the game should allow us to set the country of these teams in extra leagues. When you look at them in an editor, you'll see that the teams from each of the PXX League are from an assortment of countries (something you can even see in the crowd's banners; each is in a different language), which doesn't make the idea of creating a national league too realistic. We should be able to set this in the game, if it wouldn't allow us to outright pick a country for the generic leagues.

Also, they should add a Rest of the World block with teams from other continents to go with the "football world expansion" idea, namely North America and Oceania, probably also Africa if the PAF League thing gets vetoed - or with teams from lesser leagues from all continents so there could be a rotation of participants in continental leagues so they won't be mostly the same rosters every year of ML/BAL.

Bring back Classic NTs too (and maybe add Classic Club Teams as well). The current Euro and World Classics selection is too recent and restricted for my tastes (what do you mean I can't play with Beckenbauer, Cruyff and Best in the same team?!) - sure it can be remedied with the right edits, but I feel there should be more classics.

One more thing Konami should do is: integrate the textures of the kits so that the crowd will also wear the jerseys we make. I remember when EA had the Creation Center online, we could paste badges and sponsors to our teams' kits, and when we imported these teams to the game, we could see the crowd wearing low-res versions of the jerseys we made, sponsor and everything, even on last-gen consoles (I have FIFA 14 on the 360 with the J.League and a handful of other teams imported, and they all have this feature). That was such a nice touch, I always wondered why PES couldn't do it if the Fox Engine is supposed to be so realistic. Like so:

This one is FIFA 14. Chapecoense wasn't in the game, but I had downloaded it from the Creation Centre to have the teams from the 2015 Campeonato Brasileiro. Take a look at the detail, how the guy on the stands (not just that one, in fact) is wearing the same jersey with designs, sponsors and everything. And their resolution is so low, they look like well-animated bitmaps when seen up close. And still it's all there.

This is PES 2015. I'm not using any patches on it, just OF, and this Chelsea kit is pasted-on, obviously. But everyone in the crowd just wears the dull blue shirts that appear underneath the decals - and the other kit details too (playing with Argentina, for example, gives me a crowd dressed all in WHITE).

Other than all this, the only other thing I could ask for is that they brought the Stadium Editor back, and threw in an adboard editor as well. Any more than this and we'd be making the whole game ourselves, since the current editor already offers a lot (especially now that we can make real players' faces more faithful than ever).

PS: I'd also like a playlist editor, but that's neither here nor there...

Every year Konami makes official PES survey. Things that need to be improved/introduced and so on. I think its the best time when our feedback can actually make some difference. I dont remember when previous surveys were made, but I think the one for PES 18 should come early next year. I agree with almost everything you guys wrote here, more fake leagues/team slots is a long time dream for me. Why it wasnt introduced yet I dont know for sure, but I would guess - there were lots of other priorities and feedback that they gathered didnt show a big popularity or demand for it. So, the more of us ask for it on twitter/their official survey, the more chance it will be done. Plus, I read recent interview where Adam Bhatti stated that they are finally happy with the gameplay, so they will be able to focus much more on everything else. Chances are pretty good.

How can we participate? Will they put up a web page?

Ma per PS3 non è possibile tutto questo?

Ciao falcom4ever

Hello falcom4ever
Many of the files that you have mentioned are only for PS4, I have a PS3 and they only restore the real names, the uniforms of the teams already present in the game and only added Bundesliga. What can I do to add the other competitions such as the MLS or the teams that are missing for the Europa League and Champions League?
could you help me? I am in crisis because I can not find these files anywhere.

As for your problem, try checking this part of the forum (here), or maybe you could try searching around the web for more option files?

i think that we could change a lot of things with Editing in the 2017-Version to make this great game better.
if i can wish one more thing to edit: to be able to upload faces like kits or logo´s.

Even better than adding fake leagues was to give us the option to create leagues and teams. But I think that's asking too much...

Well, I would like to have a Portugal 2nd division, and maybe a 2nd Netherlands league, even if unlicenced it would be great (why not? England, Italy and Spain have one :p).

And yes, I think that we need more leagues. Mainly a second Europe league, a second America league, an African league and an Oceanic league (more variety and better club world cup). But that also means we need more slots for kits, and maybe some more stadiums to fit the african and oceanic theme :p Wouldn't it be nice to see a stadium in the Savanna, in the desert or in a tropical island like Tahiti?

I have nothing against Bundesliga, MLS, J-League, etc. But I usually don't make them in my game. Instead, I create teams from all over the world (mainly weaker teams. I like variety). This year we have more fake teams (finally!) and I will create teams like Malmö, Ludgorets Razgrad, NK Maribor, APOEL, BATE Borisov, Legia Warszawa, Dudelange, and a lot of other teams that I feel that are missing in the game, and put them togheter on PEU League. Of course, some of them will have to be in Other Teams, but my favourites will be in the league. Champions and Europa League will be awesome this year!

Also, it would be good to have 200 national teams, so all players could be called to their national teams. But again, that's asking too much...
