Wow, talk about no lifer here.
You seriously wrote all that just to prove that you're wrong or right on the internet
Anyway, my post was simple, i was just mad that they didn't improve them, that was my opinion, live with it, stop crying.
end of discussion, you can go back on topic now!

Listen you stupid fucking ungrateful little boy, I was actually trying to help you and keep this tin pot thread on topic. Just because you can’t fucking read a long post don’t start talking shit to me when you don’t have a clue what I’m talking about.

I understand you struggle to string sentences together so it must be a nightmare reading paragraphs but that's no excuse to come out with pure nonsensical drivel . No lifer huh? Oh the irony is almost as bad as amateur telling me I’m dumb while he’s still stuck in school repeating the same course year after year.

I mean We have you on here complaining about players stats on a video game while claiming you support, real, inter and Milan - not even realising two of those teams are fierce rivals.

How old are you 10? Be honest. Does it feel good knowing when one team loses you can then jerk off to cheer on another? Huh? This is why you want incredible stats isn’t it? So you can win every game like the glory hunting scumbag that you are so you can feel good about yourself, like you achieved something special.

You wouldn’t need to get mad about the stats if you bothered to learn how to download option files that stare right in your face on this forum but you’re so desperate for some attention, you come in here and start insulting people and getting involved in discussions that have nothing to do with you.

Now do one.

Can you all please shut up and stop argueing?

@ Amateur & PES whiners: Some of your eternally repeated points are valid, yes, but you know what? NOBODY CARES WHAT YOU THINK. Why? Because anybody who sees it your way doesn't need you to repeat it, it's too obvious from experience for that. And others who don't agree will never which will not change by repeating yourself.

@ Football777: Did you realize that with the first moment you wanted to counter, you fell on the same level? Check your language. Ignorance is the best punishment, insulting is a confession of defeat.

Thanks you a lot!

I don't read my books for school and you want me to read that?! :D

No offense, but that's one of the stupidest things I have read in a long time. NOBODY CARES WHAT I THINK.... and what makes you think I give a fuck about what you think?

Your stupid argument is an insult. I was talking about a video game, and Football777 retorts with personal insults, and you also retort with further personal insults -- what the fuck?

That's the thing about products like video games, you can make positive/pointless comments and nobody will give a fuck, you can make negative/objective comments and nobody will give a fuck; therefore, what the fuck is the point of your utter bullshit?

So according to you I should not say a thing because nobody gives a fuck about what I think? That's both stupid and offensive.

But then again, coming from a guy who was thinking about PES in the middle of a catastrophe.... excuse me for not taking your bullshit seriously. What was it that you said in another post, oh, ignorance is the best punishment, insulting is a confession of defeat, yes, you should apply it to yourself in this case.

You have insulted me for expressing my opinion and my argument, yet I, was simply talking about a damn video game. I think you should think twice before talking about ignorance.

Cry me a river. Go on cry me a river why don't you while you're stuck in victim mode. I never insulted you to begin with you liar, I just asked you to stop trolling by taking the thread off topic and repeating yourself again. Dude, that's what PES forums are, people repeating the same obvious points for months, and when people repeat themselves enough times, you do feel like you should update your argument and your opinion.

You also repeat yourself whenever you attempt to make constructive criticism about PES11, and you don't see me calling you a troll just because you expressed your opinion or formulated an argument that I disagree with.

However, when your argument is basically you calling me a liar and describing me as a pretentious person, those are personal insults. It really is that simple, I am not in victim mode, I'm just telling you that you are behaving like a massive asshole.

I do have a tendency of saying off-topic things, but I don't see how that justifies off-topic personal insults that happen to be offensive in a childish way.

Listen it's not so much as you repeating yourself that is the problem it's that every thread in the pes section turns into long rants about why you think pes11 is shit regardless of the topic. This thread is supposed to be about stats and konami's update, and now we find ourselves discussing the weight of the whole game. Fair enough you're entitled to your opinion on the game but what's the point ramming it down everyone's throat at every turn?

Last year 2010 I hated the pro edition, but I didn't jump in every thread to tell everyone else to stop playing because I thought it was garbage. That's just selfish and reeks of self importance.

Also you've got a selective memory as you've called me a trolll many a times but I don't lose sleep over it. Just don't complain when it's dished back out. You know the saying if you can't take the heat get out of the fucking kitchen and let the real cooks deal with it.

You make a fair point, I think your method of criticizing people is very questionable, but now that you put it in a more sensible and mature way, it is a fair point, I will try to improve in that respect.

BACK ON TOPIC

I don't think the stats matter that much because I think that the game is very scripted, to the point that at times I feel more comfortable scoring goals with Sergio Busquets rather than David Villa.

I think Konami should undo all their updates, I liked the game more before the infamous update.

Also, Konami never promised to tweak the stats, so nobody can really say that "we were fooled". When I read that "we were fooled" I instantly think about "engineered for freedom", I think the title of this thread is misleading.

Do we not have moderators for this forum? come on guys that was ridiculous.

OT- I don't know if fooled is too strong a word but I am disappointed myself at the lack of content this update contained, especially considering the length of time it took to come out. For me personally new players and stat updates for MLO was what I was interested in. I was very happy to see some new players like Dzeko for Man City but was overall underwhelmed by it all.

Stat updates, Kit changes, new faces/ players/ transfers/ national team selection, they really add to the longetivity of a football game. While people do have problems with some of the games deeper issues, in particular "scripting" I feel that Konami could really help alleviate the bad feelings gamers have about these issues by showing a continued interest community wise through faster updates, events, ect and having a greater transparency between them and gamers on just what they are doing with this game and the series as a whole.

so when andy carroll moves to liverpool for 30mill and still has stats worse than the recession does that make konami a great company..no it does not.. i find my self more and more wondering what is the point in having a game where they really are making no contribution its like they give us bricks and mortar and design plans.. we have to build the bloody thing ourselves its time for them to revise the way they do things.. the fact that they do hardly anything shouldnt be too hard for them.. iv been a supporter of pes for many years and i shall never to this point like fifa but with pes becoming more and more like a joke in the way its being supported i dont see myself playing it in 3 years time simply because the companies ethics are stick a shitty update with a few players transferred and let them be happy ... we are not peasants to accept the minimum is a joke!! to give an example i would like to introduce gran turismo 5 to those who havent heard much about it.. the updates they have given this game is like god remodelling the earth several times and still adding more to it... konami i feel have reached their peak and are just glueing together a broken china vase and just making it look more shiny, fifa are doing the same thing, there needs to be some revolution people demand more, the capacity to do more is there, maybe konami should look at football manager and start to take ideas into their game if not then unless they can come up with something revolutionary then i believe that the entire football series quality is going majorly downhill..

I agree it's disgusting how slack konami are compared to other gaming companies. There is so much complacency and taking the piss out of the fanbase that it's an insult to those who pay £40 for the game. The game lacks depth data wise, and features in the gameplay. It's still a solid game mind you but it lacks the realism when there are flaws with reaction times, the ref, you can even say the unlicensed teams is an issue where you would think they would make more of an effort to compensate over. I mean konami can't even be bothered to at least put in a replica german league with just the fake names. I enjoy pes2011 for what it is a good football game but I don't respect konami and their laziness.

I play football manger and the sega team are very proffesional and care about their fanbase. They update regularly if there are bugs that are reported after release. They communicate with the fans on the forums and listen to their ideas for the next release every year. They're attention to detail is second to none, something you can't say about the pro series. You have Konami who only listen to the Murphy's feedback, who is nothing more than a prepped up yes man and is too afraid of putting pressure on Seabeas to deliver what's needed. You look at him and you realise why the game is evolving as fast as it could. He looks like a bum that will settle for anything, so long as he gets paid at the end of the day.

I agree with you, these were all gripes I had early on with the game. I'm something of an obssessive with PES so when I get it I play it constantly and PES2011 feels like an 'unfinished' product.

Thats why I remain hopeful of PES2012 being the definite article. Even if its not I'll still buy it, play it to death and then decide what I think. The issue for Konami is games are getting glossier with more depth, its time to step up to the plate for them. FIFA has things like how you strike a penalty, with the instep, through the laces, sidefoot - something PES really ought to have. The Game engine still has too many automatic/semi assisted factors.

Yep it's those little small features/options that help provide depth. Attention to detail is something the pro series lacks that helps make the user feel that he is in complete control of every aspect of the game. It's sad because you know they're got a very good base to work from but they seem to think that's enough to keep it at the top. In truth it's downright complacency, laziness. But the fanbase are too simplistic in their wants and needs, where some seem to be content with just wanting more nets and boots etc added

I think they will still slack around for next years title unfortunately. I think they believe this edition is the revolution because they included manual passing. We'll likely see a few tweaks here and there in regards to players posture and a different animation to the way a player turns off and on the ball where they'll then advertise it as ''Engineered for player movement'' and hype it up to the hilt with seabass talking it up as if it's going to be the game that changes your life.

I mean just download the latest fm patch and couldn't believe the amount of things they've updated. They fixed things I didn't even realise needed fixing, which includes match engine, database(players, clubs and internationals),transfers, budgets and interaction thats been enhanced. Now that's what you call good costumer service

That's the feeling that I get from both PES11 and FIFA11, these are unfinished video games.

I think that PES feels like FIFA now, it's the same thing as far as I'm concerned, you have a pretentious passing system that is marketed as "manual" when in fact it is very assisted, and then you have the fact that the new passing system does not make sense when you consider the rest of the game.

Which is why both PES11 and FIFA11 have ridiculous balancing acts, because the passing system and the shooting system are not compatible with the rest of the game....

It is impossible to affect movement inside the space because it is only possible to affect movement through space, that's the main problem, whomever disagrees with the mentioned fact has little idea of what they are talking about.

The new shooting system, it gives more importance to the positioning of the body, which seems like a good idea on paper; however, when you consider the fact that you cannot use the left analog stick in order to determine the direction in terms of movement inside the space (body positioning) before you actually use the the left analog stick in order to determine the direction of the shot....

Well.... the new shooting system, as well as the new passing system, does not click in with the rest of the game, which is why the game feels unfinished, which is why the ridiculous scripting is necessary in order to blend-in contradictory ideas that would otherwise be incompatible.

It is the same thing that EA Sports has done with FIFA for the last two years, not touching the core flaws and yet implementing "new" elements that are not actually compatible with the rest of the game.... As a result, you get a ridiculously scripted video game....

Example, if you shot with David Villa the computer can and will decide that his body positioning before the shot was shit, and you will not score the goal, even though it looked simple enough; on the other hand, when you do the same exact thing with Sergio Busquets, the computer can and will decide that his body positioning will be spot on, and you score a goal with Busquets when just a minute ago David Villa inexplicably decided to have shit body positioning.

That's the type of thing that happens when the user cannot manually determine movement inside the space: the computer will script the game for you.

Which is why the stats are not a big factor for me, I cannot manually use the stats, I can only direct the left analogue stick and let the computer take care of how the stats work.

PES11 is, in my opinion, a dumb and simplistic video game with difficult execution.

Player individuality should stand out easily, with PES11, you need hours of getting a feel for the game before you can start noticing all the little differences, because the number of animations that can be implemented into a video game where the user cannot manually determine movement inside the space is a very limited number or space, which is why player individuality is crammed into an outdated system where the user needs hours of play before getting a proper feel of what "player individuality" actually is in the game.

PES started with a cool idea, player individuality, the potential always was that PES could eventually evolve into a video game where the user manually uses the player individuality as opposed to the player individuality working in accordance to something that the user cannot affect.

Unfortunately, a decade after, player individuality still is the same automatic-scripted bullshit, and I don't see it changing in 2012, it's just great business for Konami.

EDIT

I fully respect the opinions of whomever likes PES11, including the opinions of 777 and Ali and other people who think that PES11 is a decent video game.

No offense, but that's one of the stupidest things I have read in a long time.

Well, this sentence is quite obligatory in your way of expression. I must say, it loses its weight...

NOBODY CARES WHAT I THINK.... and what makes you think I give a fuck about what you think?

Nothing makes me think that, I just express myself just as you do. If anybody cares about what I think, he will silently suck up the words or alternatively say something to it...

Your stupid argument is an insult. I was talking about a video game, and Football777 retorts with personal insults, and you also retort with further personal insults -- what the fuck?

First of all: Check your own words. But I see what person you are: Everyone else is stupid. I didn't insult you by the way if you read well enough. But be honest to yourself: You can't live with people who don't share what you hyper-intelligent ruler of the universe- the HeMan - think.

That's the thing about products like video games, you can make positive/pointless comments and nobody will give a fuck, you can make negative/objective comments and nobody will give a fuck; therefore, what the fuck is the point of your utter bullshit?

You are becoming more and more contradictive, boy. Check your own words... Great laughter you make me have. Tanks a lot, preferably over your head... Maybe things get put right.

So according to you I should not say a thing because nobody gives a fuck about what I think? That's both stupid and offensive.

According to my words: You don't need to repeat yourself all the time with pages-long essays about what your theories about the game are. Some of your points are blankly valid I said. But on the other hand you should accept that people don't need to see this kind of whatever you wanna call it - critics? - in (exaggerating a little) every 2nd thread and 3rd comments on blog-articles. Either you're a trolling spammer then or a spamming troll. Both are not very welcomed in the internet as you should know. Not because they are so less-worthy beings but because they destroy any community by giving unnecessary ballast to too often repeated things.

Well, think whatever you want but I'm not such a hypocritical guy who affects deep compassion with what happens on the other end of the world all the time, I still have life to live and can't do too much to help them people. If people were paralyzed by events not affecting them all the time, the world would stand still.
Your 2nd part where you appreciate my sentence with that deep meaning is pointless as I did not insult you anyway. But you won't get it, will ya?

You have insulted me for expressing my opinion and my argument, yet I, was simply talking about a damn video game. I think you should think twice before talking about ignorance.

You know: It is you who is taking things to this kind of level. I have not insulted you but when you identify with every piece you experience and apply it in offence to your obviously huge ego, then maybe you see it like that. Objectively it doesn't change the fact that I didn't anyway. YOU R THE ONE taking all this too serious.
"Thinking twice before talking about ignorance" is a nice paradoxon, isn't it? What I request from you is nothing more than even thinking ONCE... after reading right what other wrote, probably there's gonna be no argument for you left...
