hey does n e one know which is the 'transfer players from club-to-club' option? i have heard that you don't need to buy it from the WE-Shop, its already unlocked.

go to the edit mode. click on the second menu, then click again on the second, the first is for national team.

It works perfectly with a slidecard and swap magic disks.

I haven´t seen it, maybe it´s in the AFS file, but it can´t be selected ingame.
Also we don´t know how to perform the Ronaldinho trick or if it´s in the game.
It looks like there are no striped shirts.

Quick Question

hey all, im hell jealous that ppl have WE8, cos ill be waiting ages for PES4 over here in OZ, just wonderin if I want to load up my option file that has real team names ( for premier league ) will i be able to do it on PES4 because if i load up my option file does that mean all the other club teams like spanish ones etc will go bak to normal names and stuff? its hard to explain but i keep thinkn if i load up my pes3 option file all the player names will go bak to wat they was in pes3 instead of bein liesend, if any1 understands pleez help haha

They're not editable, no... nor are their club names, so from the Team Select they'll always be in Japanese. Patching would fix that though, when someone makes one.

how do you improve their stats?? is it by using points(like in we7) or their stats will improve like normal players(by playing games)

none, you have to add text to the shirt yourself. Haven't tried it yet though.

It will be possible.

Under Edit mode there's a Manage Saved Data option, there you can load up selected (team, player, stadium) data from an option file on a card in slot 2, to add to a file on the card in slot 1.

To do what you suggest, you'd create a new PES4 file, load up the PES3 data to that in the PES Data options, then switch the 2 memory cards over. Create another (default) PES4 file on the second card, and go to the Manage Save Data option under the Edit options and upload the names team by team for the English Premiership teams.

However, because the menu's in PES4 will be in English, and it will be pretty much the same structure and teams as WE8, I'd say an option file with player names corrected would become available in a matter of days. Then all you'd need is an Xport (or equivalent) to get the file from your PC to the PS2. Much simpler.

In WE8 its' easier to make mistakes, because the menu's remain in Japanese. I lost a file I'd corrected names for using a WE7i version of the PESGoal v1.01 file - that's had 90% of of names for players in the clubs that appeared in PES3/WE7i, plus I'd corrected the remaining names for all La Liga teams.
