There is a small chance of that but 2x should be fine.
It could depend what else was running on your pc while you were burning.
Best not to run any other programs while burning.

Also you can try defragmenting your hard disk.

Thanks Zygalski! I played 5-6 games last night at full crowd and at different stadiums but didn´t notice any slowdown at all this time. I also feel that the matches runs in different speed. Some matches seems to run slower than PES4 and some matches seems to run faster than PES4...but I guess it´s just med that is adjusting to the slower pace of WE8LE. When first playing WE8LE, I felt that the speed of the game was slower than PES4 (which is good), but when playing the latest matches I get the impression that the game runs faster than before...but I guess it´s just me.

Thanks for all your support! I´ll try and burn a new copy at 1x and no other applications running.

zyg so u tellin me that when the players run onto pitch they meant the game is meant to be running at normal speed, i thought it was deliberatly slowed down????????????
But no other aspect of the game slows down, weird eh?

Slowdown occurs when the ball is in a penalty area and there are many players on the screen, and is said to depend on the crowd at that end of the pitch, and the camera angle being used. Tinker with these settings and see if it makes a difference.

And slowdown is not deliberate (or it shouldn't be).

hello everyone.... i'm new to this board and i'm trying to check out this patch but it will not let me. i'm not too familiar with DVD decrypter ( i usually use apache2 to make ISO files). Anyway, I'm trying to download the patch from the torrent link and it's taking foreveeeerrrrr....But, once it's done, say tomorrow or something, where can i find accurate instructions on how to apply the patch? i have followed the instructions on the thread and they are a bit confusing. for example, when opening DVD Decrypter, you go to mode, ISO read..... then what? how do you actually create/save the iso or pick the name of the file? how do you pick the folder where you want to save it so you can come back and retrieve it when you want to patch it? Sorry for the inconvenience, but like i said i'm pretty new to your board. i hope you guys can help. BTW for those looking for a WE8I patch check out the Salmon patch V3 on IGN, it rocks

Zig, thanks for the reply , but that's exactly what i'm referring to..... i went to the http://forum.pesinsight.com/showthread.php?t=16240 guide and that's what i'm having problems with.

Whenever i put my copy of WE8LE in the DVD drive, open DVD Decrypter, and go to ISO read, start creating thie ISO, i get the following errors
E 18:50:13 Failed to Extract Sectors!
E 18:50:13 Operation Aborted! - Duration: 00:00:14
E 18:50:13 Average Read Rate: 2,742 KB/s (2.0x) - Maximum Read Rate: 2,927 KB/s (2.1x)
yet, i still get pop up saying the ISO has been succesfully completed

Any idea if i'm doing anything wrong? the torrent file is 44% done now, so maybe once it's finished it may be more apparent. any help is still appreciated man, thanx.

No-one else has mentioned getting that error. Try making an image from another original game and see what happens. Then you'll know whether the problem is with the disk or your PC. Most likely, if you try method on another PC, it will work fine.

Zyg, i tried that and it seems like i'm having better luck... i tried making an ISO with another game and it made it with no error, then i tried it again with WE8LE and although it's only 60% done, i did not get the initial error i did earlier. now i'm just waiting to get te torrent file to download...... man it takes a long time.... i've been waiting close to 4 hours and it's only at 52%....
BTW thanks for your help Zyg....


Update....Hopefully you canhelp me Zig.... thr torrent download is fnally over after 8 hours. however, all it says is "bitorrent 100%:.....etc" can i close this and it will be fine or shuld i be getting a message saying it's complete? I just dont want to close the program and screw it up. Please let me know

2. Is Reefur's database going to be similar to (or even better than) Sunjun's current database? Also, is Reefur going to change the players' face like what Sunjun did in his patch?

just cpmbine them for now but dont delete off any of ur iso's!! it takes like ten minutes and is definitly worth doing it. just follow Blisterno's guide on pages 5.6and7 of this thread.

Wutang - The thing is I'm not sure if I will be able to do what Blisterno said correctly the first time (I still haven't done the combining yet). If Reefur's V1.0 is coming out soon and will be at least as good as Sunjun's database, then I rather be patient and wait for it. Know what I'm saying my man!?

Share the patch with others - that's the only way it will be a fast download. People complain that it is too slow but as soon as the file completes they stop sharing it - these people are looking for a slap. So please do continue to share the file. You can now unrar the patch using WinRAR.

I'm not sure what is wrong with your original - is it scratched or something?
It may be worth restarting your PC and then trying to get the image as your system will be fresh.

Thanks for the insight Zyg and yes i will share it.... question about Winrar though. i have been looking for a way to decompress the patch but i couldn't fint a way. inth apst, when i patch the program i use to patch does it on its own. i've looked in this forum but i can't find anything on here. if you nkow where there s a link totheinstructions would you mind posting it here? Patches only work for the game they are made for. PES4 PC patches only work on PC PES4. There are patches for all the versions so get one for the one you have.
