Portal. Laugh at me all you want. I thought the test chambers were tutorials. I only realised I was playing the actual game when I arrived at the test chamber 15, which is only recently. Now I'm at test chamber 16.

I've played the game on and off, just because I thought it was a helluva long tutorial.

I'm just so weird. :\ Even I wonder what I come up with, sometimes. :|

Sweey, how are you finding Spore?

Now, I'll be playing Oblivion. I re-started the game. I'm still in the beginning.

Edit: Sweey, how did you like Fable? Is it The Lost Chapters that you're playing?

Saw advert for Spore and it looks quite unique; is it good Don? ;)

Your rating /10?

So far, 8.5 or 9. I'm only in the third stage and the fifth, space, is supposed to be by far the best and most involving.

Sweey, how are you finding Spore?

I like it. You end up thinking of your creatures as your own babies because of their behaviour which has been done well. I can see why hardcore gamers might be irritated with it but they're obviously not approaching the game in the right manner.

I loved it, finished it a couple of weeks ago. Its the only game in the last year, aside from Mass Effect, that I've enjoyed playing so much I've played it constantly. Can't wait for Fable 2 on PC though that's probably the back-end of 2009 along with Starcraft II and/or Diablo III and/or The Sims 3. Long time to wait until then.

At least Fallout 3 is out soonish.

There's going to be a Sims 3 you say ? :eek:hmy:

Will it be released on the Xbox 360 do you think ? I adored The Sims and The Sims Bustin' Out for PS2 but have been deprived of a Sims game for about 3-4 years now. It's just a nice relaxing game to play, will be something different as well with all the shooting games being released nowadays.

Didn't you know already? :shocking:

www.thesims3.com - which has just informed me of a February 20 release date :shocking:

It is confirmed for PC and, at a later date, Mac OS X. No mention of consoles at all.

February 20th is crazily early but I guess it's the perfect time since there is currently a massive game drought. It will suck major though if it isn't to be released for the Xbox 360, even if it's several months behind the PC release date.

The screenshots look excellent, I'd host some of them here but you can't right click and save on the site understandably. There's some great shots of the characters relaxing in what looks to be the town halls and cafes, and it looks quite open so it will be interesting to see how it shapes up. Looks spot on so far though.

I'll take a look at The Sims 3 in the near future.

Sweey, I like you, noticed that the views on Spore was a bit of a mixed bag. hence my asking you. I'll be acquiring it ASAP. Even if I doubt I'll have the time, 'cause in 3 weeks time I'll need to start revising for my exams which are to start four weeks from now.

Fable was great, albeit short. I was a good swordsman last time I played it. Did you manage to make love to Lady Grey? I couldn't. :\ I got bored whilst trying. You know of the Darkwood Bordello? I acquired the deeds, shagged all the whores then turned it into a nun house or whatever. :)

How was your character and what did you do, etc.

Didn't come across the Darkwood Bordello if I remember right but was more concerned with the offerings at the Chapel of Skorm. I played a thief-type character with strong melee skills who had issues with his identity. Some days I was nice, others I was an absolute arse so my alignment was all over the shop. Enjoyed breaking into a shop, stealing lots of stuff and then out-running the guards for the next 45 minutes.

The atmosphere in some places, such as the Grey House, was wonderful.

I didn't get anywhere near Lady Grey as I chose instead to see her kicked out of office upon acquiring proof of her criminal act.

I've been playing Tiger Woods 09 on the 360 over the past few days. It's a really good game, a few things have changed since last year's version. The Tiger Challenge has been re-vamped and can be considered quite difficult. I completed the Tiger Challenge this morning and I'm now playing in the PGA Tour.
