I really suck at defense and my offence tends to fall flat on its ass as i often go for the shot when it should be an easy layup.

I should really learn some some of these so i can mix it up abit better.

The stepback is the most useful imo. If you have one or two good shooters (which I do at the Thunder) it's a great way of getting yourself some space for a shot.

While dribbling the crossover is simple to use and very useful. If you're lucky it can take you past the defender, but if not it seems to create room for an inside pass.

I've just finished Mafia II and it was alright. I just wish there was more opportunity to explore the area and at the same time wish there was more in the area to explore. Some of the actions were really pointless, especially in the place you're staying. Why give me an option to turn the faucet on or to flush the toilet? What's the point? The police were rather ineffective too but even if they do stop you, you can just pay them off and go on your merry way having killed loads of people for the price of $200. Other than that it's a good game with some nice touches here and there such as a great selection of songs on the radio and the inclusion of lock-picking which I believe was in the first game too, along with the speed-limiter thing.

Yeah, I forgave all of Mafia 2's niggles because the story, acting, driving mechanics and soundtrack was just that damn good. I went in expecting a free roaming GTA affair, but Mafia 2 was more an epic but linear plot driven action game, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it even though it wasn't what I initially wanted.

My second favourite game of 2010 to be honest.

Yeah. I enjoyed it tbh, though it came free with the PS3 version, so i didnt pay for it.

I dont know if I would've paid for it tbh as It pained me because I knew all this had been planned to be included in the main game with Vito doing the missions and them actually giving you something to do in the game world outside of the storyline, but when 2Kgames got involved they saw a good way to make more money out of teh game, and had it stripped out and released as DLC add ons.

A shame really, I imagine if the devs had their way and released the game like they wanted, it could have been one of the accepted greats of 2010.

The Sims 3 on Xbox.

I started as a single guy but all the trivial household duties take up too much time to enjoy the whole game so I decided to start again with more than one. This gave me the idea of recreating Friends.

I have a Joey who loves the ladies, a Phoebe who's a bit wierd, a Monica that's neurotic, a Ross who's a geek, a Rachel who's spoilt and a Chandler who thinks he's a comedian.

The only problem I now have is fitting them all into a three bedroom house with one bathroom. Plus you have to know how to juggle as one of them always needs something doing.

I'm playing Football Manager 2011, and Saw II Flesh & Blood for PS3. In FM I'm Leverkusen, quite enjoying it at the moment. Saw is good also, feel as though I've not got long to go till I've completed it.

Need for Speed hot Persuit - great game and with the addition of the autolog feature which lets you know when your friends have beaten your times, which is brilliant for a bit of competition.

Gone back to Borderlands on 360 thanks in no small part to the 50% off DLC. Enjoying slaughter on the Secret Armoury at the mo.

Have you got all the DLC? Secret Armoury is the best. I don't know if they still have the glitch that lets you get into the armoury multiple times, do they? The last dlc irritated me a little, because of a few of the trophies. My trophy percentage is stuck on a rather annoying 96%. I already have the platinum, but it annoys me when I have the platinum, and I don't have 100% (I'm a bit weird in that way).
I don't mind if they're multiplayer trophies, I usually ignore multiplayer dlc. But in this case, they're trophies based on random item drops, and after hours of trying, I just aren't getting the damn drops that I need!

Only got the armoury one so far, not struck by the others. Dunno about the glitch either, though I do think it's odd that you can die in the armoury (couldn't find the way out in time, too may toys! :faceplm:) and still keep everything...

Shouldn't complain. Got a couple of decent guns out of it & a nice wad of cash from selling the rest of the stuff.

The glitch let you get into the armoury without actually opening the doors, thus the timer never starts... giving you infinite time for looting. Then you just save and exit, rinse and repeat.
Obviously you had to travel all that way each time, and kill Knoxx each time, which could be a bit of a pain, but worth it in the end.

I'm house sitting for next 3 weeks so I'm 360-less :(

It's given me a chance to dust off my DS though and I've just bought Professor Layton and the curious village.

Only done about 5 puzzles so far but it's a great little game and probably the best looking game I've played on the DS!

I'm going to play Killzone2 again later, finding it very therapeutic! I scored 426 points in my last game before retiring to bed last night.

Maybe I should only play Killzone2 when I'm in pain? It seems to focus my mind and my aim! :D
