CPU teams to act like football teams that want to win matches

CPU teams to act like football teams that want to win matches - This would be an outstanding feature to add to the series.
Currently teams hardly ever change their approach or make tactical substitutions

The CPU appears to be blissfully unaware of the away goals rule, two leg matches, whether they are about to go out of major tournaments, etc.

I played a team recently that needed a win on the last day of the season to stay in the league.
They started with an ultra defensive formation, I scored a goal, they continued to focus entirely on occupying their own half and passing the ball around their defence. Final score 1-0 to me, opposition not interested in trying to win the match at any point.

Am I asking too much in this day and age? I used to play a game called This is Football that included what I'm asking for, about 15 years ago

You have a point and I think this is actually something Fifa do better. If you're leading by a goal with 5 mins left they'll start getting a bit desperate and play high balls into the box. They'll also be quite content to park the bus in an opposite scenario.

Stadiums always been an issue for me. I don't need lots of licensed stadia, but having a variety of smaller generic ones is crucial.

FIFA excels brilliantly with having 3 or 4 different lower league stadiums for EACH region.

Also wasn't it PES 12/13 when you had a popularity level? The stadium was half-full most of the tiem unless you played big oppostion or an important match.

Crazy how Konami can axe good features still in modern games.

Yes very important point about the stadiums. Finally adding the lower league teams last year was a good move but the lack of stadiums completely took the shine off it. Playing away to the likes of Birmingham and Fulham in huge 60,000 seater stadiums was just ridiculous.
I have mentioned before the disturbing lack of attention/disregard towards the domestic leagues though.

Why remove the stadium creator?

This is one of my main concerns. I have no faith in Konami getting the squads of "2nd division" teams correct, and suspect that in terms of player attributes/appearance, it's just gonna be a copy/paste job from last season.

Konami I want more European Teams as Shakhtar, Bate, Fenerbahce, Leverkusen, Malmö, CSKA Moskva. It is really necessary to full fill Uefa Champions League and Europa League!

Next year it'll start, as Konami have only PES to focus on now, as they've dumped Metal Gear Solid and this is their only big outlet. No more excuses now from them. :blush:
