Out Jan 8th is a game I've been reading about fo rthe past month or so. Think of it as a cross between the gameplay of Zelda, taking place in a fallout esque world and the artwork/presentation of God of War and Gears of War. Day 1 buy for me.

I'm looking forward to the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat on the PC next month. I feel like getting back into a bit of PC gaming now that I have a decent enough computer to operate newish games on. I was looking on amazon at getting either Shadow of Chernobyl or Clear Sky, then realised that a new game was due for release in February so I think I'll wait for it.

I'm also waiting for Dead Rising 2 on the PS3 which I heard today will be delayed at least a month, maybe more which is a pain in the arse. The reasoning from capcom was pretty shitty too (was for several games; not just Dead Rising 2):

"# Avoid competing with the major titles that other companies plan to introduce in the 4th quarter
# Preserve the value of Capcom's titles and maximize sales volume
# Expand the lineup of titles in the next fiscal year and afterward "

Looking at Sweey's list, I'd say Heavy Rain, Mass Effect 2 and Max Payne 3 interest me. Is there any news on Alan Wake's release or is that a silly question?

The latest is "Q2 2010". I lovie how when it was announced in 2005 it was a PC only game and now its 360 only. Twats.

I'm wrong, was meant to delete that as I approached it from a "not coming out on PC" perspective like a plank when you weren't concerned with a PC release anyway.

Black: Second Mission.

I've just been reading about the original, which i thought was one of the best games i've played and found the rumours of the sequel. I cant wait for this one, i just hope they follow the layout for the first one, probably the most detailed shooter there is/was.

Hopefully they dont fuck it up, one of my other fave's, Brothers in arms, stayed true to the original for the first sequel then went way off course with Hells Highway. Fingers crossed.
