Actually, I went to by a new copy of the FIFA 98 cause I was playing mine so much that it fainted! The guy in the shop just laughed at me, and said:"Let mie show you something boy". He had some really cool game on the screen, with supporters waving their flags, cool movements... Take look at the attachments, screenshots are from ISS PRO 98 (Valderama cover also), and front and back cover from the Very First ONe...
Just read the text on the back cover...

The predictable gameplay gets old fast
-Why you don`t like FIFA games, and
Main reason............EA sucks at everything
-Why would you NEVER recommend this game to somebody else (or Why WOULD you recommend this game).
I would never recommend FIFA because the gameplay sucks. I would recommend it for one reason and to a certain group of people. If you are a Widescreen HDTV owner..............PES has no widescreen support, while FIFA does. Its the only reason I own FIFA. Most of my friends only like FIFA and at least we can play it in widescreen. Other than that FIFA sucks and I always end up at my PC playing PES 4. At least one of my mates will play it with me as he hates FIFA also.

Because it doesnt offer what PES can offer me, fabulous gameplay that is.
-Why you don`t like FIFA games?
Because they promise improvement every year and look at what we get from them? Shite gameplay, "improvements" turn out to slow down the game/make it unplayable and the only good thing about it are the officially licensed teams.

Best FIFA game was FIFA Road To WC 98, and ISS 98 was a classic aswell...pity FIFA games have been shite ever since! if they never had more leagues and licensed kits then the game wouldn't even exist as PES would just wipe them out...!

Yeah, that was great though
In the older winning 11 on ps1 I think that the ball sounds just like a rubber ball which you play with on he beach or in a swimming-pool. Still the game was great. Every time my mate went to japan or thailand or "nam", I told him to bring a copy of the new winning 11 !

Fifa's shit, thats the answer, I remember in FIFA 2002, you could always kick off and score from half way line no problem.

Agreed, Burnout3,Def Jam:Fight For Ny,Need for speed etc. are decent games. I have also played a couple EA Ice hockey games and Rugby games with my mate and there decent enough. I was foolish in thinkin Fifa Streets would actually be decent, yet another shitty EA football game focusing on skills,graphics and copyrights.
