Because those 4 teams are exclusive for FIFA.

Yeah but every team is from the english leagues excluding man utd and wolves my point was some of these teams that are not licensed for example chelsea will be licensed in the champs league mode on PES but not other modes which is a bit silly tbh.

No.

I won't be buying it, bought every single PES/ISS going all the way back to the start from the beginning. I have a ps4 & without kit's/badges etc its pointless playing it.

Don't get me wrong gameplay is awesome, but looking at a screen of all coloured kits is horrific.

I know its sony fault & not Konami but its a deal breaker.

Think for the very first ever time i will not be buying pea this year. i'll hold off in the hope a miracle happens, not holding my breathe though.

NO pea this year for me.

It's due to the issues with FA Premier League licensing rather than solely 'club' licensing. I'm sure EA and FIFA will have exclusivity of the Premier League license with the FA, as a condition in their deal - which Konami can't really do too much about.

The UEFA Champions League license is completely separate to that of the FA Premier League license. At least Konami have secured the former, which never used to be the case years ago. Konami just can't afford to compete financially with EA, so as long as they focus primarily on nailing the gameplay, then they have a great chance of propelling themselves into a position to purchase the rights to licenses at some point down the line. Fortunately, this year, Konami has managed to cook up some really exciting and addictive gameplay, which is the most important aspect for me.

I'll be getting the game for Xbox 360, so all of the editing options will still be available to me, along with the gameplay too. And given that it'll be cheaper also, it's a win/win in that respect.

That makes sense I know the gameplay is really good and that is the main focus but im pretty confident that we will see a mod file for the xbox one and ps4 l.

I am going to be getting the game on the xbox one my main concern tho is the keepers have improved from the demo because otherwise online will be full of people just shooting from just inside the other opponents half.

Then how does Konami still have Manchester United F.C which puzzles me since EA have the F.A Premier League Exclusivity.

It's been the case for years now, whereby Konami can only have two Premier League teams licensed - there must be a stipulation or loophole to allow it, I remember reading something to this affect a long time ago, how true it was is anybody's guess, but it seems more than feasible. If Konami could get the entire Premier League, you have to ask yourself why wouldn't they?

In PES 2013 the had the entire La Liga and from I understand that scared the crap out of EA and now they're making sure Konami doesn't have La Liga or one the main European Leagues completely Licensed involving all the stadiums.

I Do agree that Konami needs to do better and we won't have an Stadium Creator for PES 2015 from what I understand just only Stadium Editor.

Why doesn't Konami try to make compromises with EA or if not take them to court of Monopoly of Licenses??

Making a deal or going to court never gonna happen would cost them money and based on 2014 PES sales were poor to say the least. I think the key issues are konami do not do themselves any favours.

I mean the pc has been proper gimped they moan at piracy affecting sales well doing what they have will only make that worse, making the xbox one version 720p again not the best of ideas... Konami have become a company that cuts corners to try cut costs but im not happy with this and others are not either

EA has exclusive with Premier League and most of the Premier League teams. But Konami have a contract with Manchester United to have its licence.

Oh well I guess we will have to pray for something to change in the future and they end hiring somebody who becomes very aggressive to licensing so the can get those deals done early.

Will the Firmware 2.0 the PS4 Enable the copying of images yet??

Why are you being abusive about this as all you have to do is say how it works instead of using offensive words as he we learn new things everyday they say!

But hey if you are the sort of guy who makes enemies over small things then fine as usually you end up saying the wrong thing to the wrong guy then there will be trouble.

I remember there being a similar issue with PES 2008 on the PS3 (you could only use the PS Eye camera to apply photos as faces and kits). Despite that, it didn't stop me from having one of the most entertaining master league experiences I've ever had (and yes, I know looking back now that 2008 was a poor game really).

I can live without kits this year. The gameplay is fantastic and that is what has me excited.

Not buying it without option file transfers, and no way i want to play a weaker last gen version, so its another year without a footie game, the gameplay might be great this year but its still a deal breaker for me, konami should of worked something out with sony and ms and got this issue sorted earlier, this is a big let down to go another year without footie, why cant they just allow option files to be copied from last gen servers to new gen, it could be done in game without all this messing about, i cant help but think konami could have tried harder for new gen.
