R u serious? u using home or professional? From wat i can gather, it's a known problem. So bad tt xp users r advised not to purchase x-port. R u certain it works like a charm? I reli need to know as I'm planning to buy one.

Yeah, ive got an X-port, and windows XP home
the only problem ive come across, is it sumtimes says there woz an erroer connecting the USB, but that might be becoz sumtimes, my CD loads after ive loaded da PC software
other than that, it seems fine to me

I've also just received my X-Port and have ran into problems right from the get go. After following instructions, I placed the X-Port PS2 disc into the PS2, where I get the following message: "Please insert a PlayStation or PlayStation2 format disc."

Any ideas?

The new PS2's have problem loading 3rd party discs such as swap magic and X - Port. I hit reset and its alright.

I've got the disc to be recognized by an older, broken PS2 (won't recognize controller in first slot, thus can play no games ), but now it says "USB Error connecting to PS2". Any common things I could do to fix it?

Make sure that your computer is upto date via Windows Update & Re-install your X Port drivers.

this will b rly obvious 2 most ppl but im new 2 patchin and x-ports, so if sum1 cud help me id b rly gr8ful ive just got pro evo and winning eleven on my ps2 so 2 get the patches (with licensed kits, new teams, ie soton bolton etc) i have 2 buy and x-port don't i? or is there another way 4 these patches 2 work on my ps2 pro evo?

Can you get kits of squads and equipations into the ps2 through the X-port?
i was looking for the Kits forum and i saw post like:"Barcelona new equipation" and it was only one picture covering all the t-shirt,short and sockets, what im asking if that i could use that same "picture" to get into the ps2 throught the X-port or that is only for the PC game=??

X-Port files only contain kits that have been edited in Edit mode.
A patched game where you patched the game and burnt it onto a CD/DVD contains the realistic kits with logos and sponsors etc.

You need to patch your game. X-Port doesn't patch your game it just transfers and backups mem card files. Check the editing section for the beginners guide to patching.

Back to your post,what your are basically saying is that instead "uploading" the pes throught a kit, x-port "upload" it through editing files????

id like to patch pes3 there are many patches out there could anybody tell me the best patch and how to obtain it, and also i am buying an x-port, will i be able to patch the game using an x-port, if so how and also will i need to buy a usb cable to connect the ps2 to the pc or does the x-port come with one.
