Use this thread to plan online matches and discuss how past ones went.
I played a few good players on live last night.

MattShez (gamertag: f1maff) was one of them.
I played as Brazil. Can't remember who hosted the matches, I think it was him.

AC Milan (MattShez) Vs Brazil (Zyg)
1-0 to Brazil

France (MattShez) Vs Brazil (Zyg)
4-2 to Brazil

A few good matches there. That was the first time I heard someone's voice on live and wasn't expecting it from my TV speakers! :)

Tried to create a match, saw this guy MO911 so asked him to play. He rejected. Then I played someone else and during this match I saw that MO911 had added me as a friend. Cool. After the match he invited me to play. OK, let's go. Brazil Vs Brazil. 3-1 to me and he quit.

Pro Evo Danny played me twice. His Inter Vs my Brazil.
I feel I dominated both matches as I had more chances. Less than 5 shots for him, over 15 for me. Both matches ended 2-1 to me, after a mixture of good defence by him and bad finishing by me (and my rubbish players!).

dannyboy20 as England against my Brazil. Close game. 1-0 to me. 1-1. Extra time. 2-1 to danny. I equalised straight away and then managed to score the winner. 3-2 to me after extra time. Good game.

Played so many games that I didn't realise I was bursting to go to the loo so for one match, I used about 40 seconds of the tactics screen to rush to the loo! Frantic few seconds there :D


It's very hard to adjust to the differing form arrows for each match. Add to that the fact that my L1 and L2 buttons are switched and I'm used to playing on manual switching so I'm playing at about 70%.

My record so far is:
Won 10, Drawn 3, Lost 3 (plus 4 quitters).
407pts, position 1972.

1-0 to the Liverpool. Early First Half Goal sealed the victory. to be honest it should have been a draw or a possible Arsenal win on hitman's superior second half performance

Note: Only used the scum (liverpool) because they are playin arsenal today :D

Me (Brazil) Vs Evertonian 1878 (France) – Drew 1-1. I totally dominated. Shots, 12/7 Vs 2/2, Possession 54%)

Has anyone who has played a game I hosted noticed any lag at all?

I don't think i'm gonna be using Brazil again lol I was keeping quiet about the thrashings you gave me yesterday Zyg! ;) I lost so many games yesterday its unbelievable, in some of the games I just can't do anything, I cant tackle but they can tackle me easy. I'll have my revenge Zyg, I will!!! :p

Oh and there wasn't really any lag Zyg, there was some but nothin bad. I did keep trying to press the button to shoot and It wouldn't happen till like the 3rd press but thats what i'm getting with most people.

I wanna play Zygalski. too, invited you to a game last nite but the friends list doesn't tell you if your playing a game or not, which is weird.

As for me, the lag issue is a MAJOR concern for me, I've never lost a game I've hosted, and won one game out of 8 when I've joined another game, is there any new about the Konami patch which is much needed for me to really enjoy this game.

Can someone answer this question then, coz i may be getting Xbox live soon and it may be a problem with the top leaders board.

Zygalski said he were playing a game when he was winning and the other person quit it, does that mean you get the win or does it count like the game was never played?

Because if it doesnt give the win to you then there are gonna be alot of cheat players out there that will never lose a game coz they will be quiting every time there losing.

As has been posted in other threads, when you quit an xbox live match, nothing happens to the quitter. And people are making black-lists of these cheats.

Best thing to do is to make a friends list using the various pes forums and stick to playing those on your list.

And the leader's board isn't that great. As far as I can see, it stores all the results for the past week and month. Don't think there is an overall record (so I'm writing down my results on paper).

Zezu, the friends list does tell you what your friends are doing!
It either says:
1. Playing Pro Evolution Soccer 4,
2. Available in Pro Evolution Soccer 4,
3. Playing [Another game]
or
4. offline.

If it says Available - send them an invite. If they're playing, wait for them to finish the match or find someone else.

it counts has the game was never played but Konami are releasing a patch soon so that might fix it.

anyway, just had a great game with Zygalski.

England (Me- dapimp18 ) 2 v Brazil 2 (Zygalski)

One of the best games i've had on Xbox Live. i thought it was pretty even but it was an exciting game.

1-0 - Ronaldo (beautiful shot into the bottom left corner than Ronaldo)

1-1 - cant remember who scored

2-1 - Vassell (sh*tty goalkeeping from dida i think. spilled a sh!t freekick frm beckham and pounced on by Vassell)

2-2 - Adriano.(goal mouth scrap after adriano rounded the goalkeeper)

exciting end to the game when Owen missed a great solo effort by about and inch before Zygalski missed a golden chance in stoppage tiime. All in All, superb game
